The NRS Healthcare Aluminium Swivel Bath Seat is ideal for those with limited mobility that need help when in the bath. Its robust yet lightweight frame and secure seat can be locked at 90 degree intervals, to allow flexible movement. There are also drainage holes in the seat for added safety which makes it suitable for both enamel and acrylic baths.
This bath seat can rotate 360 degrees smoothly by simply putting up the easy-to-use leaver, whilst the frame can be easily adjusted with its e-clips and non-slip rubber ends. The backrest of the seat also includes a handle for easy transportation.
The Height Adjustable Economy Mobile Shower Chair has also been tested and approved by NRS Healthcare Occupational Therapists and is OT Recommended, which tests a product’s function, ease of use, and safety.
Assembly
To use the seat, raise the locking handle, rotate the seat until it’s facing the user, lower the handle and lock into place, the user can then get into the seat. Raise the locking handle and rotate the user slowly into the bath, whilst raising their legs over the edge. Ensure the seat is locked and no longer rotates before washing.
To assemble the bath seat, a detailed guide can be found in the user instructions. Remember not to overtighten the frame to avoid damage to the bath. It is also essential that all 4 feet of the bath seat mounting frame rest on the bath’s edge by at least 50mm (2 inches) when assembling.

Always make sure all fixings are installed correctly before use. It is vital that the user always sits in the centre of the seat, does not lean over the edges of the seat or stand on the seat or any other part of the product. Whilst the NRS Healthcare Aluminium Swivel Bath Seat is accessible to anyone who requires it, to ensure stability, there is a maximum weight limit of 160kg (25 stone).
