How much does an eye test cost?
A standard eye test at Boots Opticians costs £25.
Certain groups of people, like children and over 60s, are eligible for free NHS funded eye checks.**
Eye tests are free for everyone in Scotland funded by the NHS.

If you prefer, you can book an eye test appointment over the phone between:
- 8:30am – 7:00pm Monday to Friday
- 8:45am – 5:00pm Saturday to Sunday
