If your cat suffers with Idiopathic Cystitis it is important to identify stressors in the environment and reduce the impact of these. Stress is a common reason for underlying feline cystitis in cats. If your vet has advised you that your cat's cystitis is due to stress, then Feliway Cystease is the ideal support product to use alongside their other suggestions.
Feliway is a synthetic copy of the facial pheromone which cats use to mark their home environment. Idiopathic cystitis commonly occurs in cats which have an exaggerated response to stress and may have a deficiency in the protective layer which lines the bladder wall.
Feliway Cystease has been specially formulated and contains the following ingredients:
N-acetyl glucosamine and hyaluronic acids - two building blocks of the protective GAG lining and therefore supplementation may help support and maintain the bladder.
L-tryptophan - an amino acid precursor to serotonin which is known to have a calming and relaxing effect.

How to use
Feeding Guide: Cystease tablets should be given once or twice daily to an average sized cat. Once the problem has been brought successfully under control, this can be reduced and increased again if a stressful period or event is anticipated. Capsules are easy to administer, they can be added or sprinkled into food.
Initially administer according to these guidelines for at least 2 weeks:
Cats <3kg - 1 capsule daily;
Cats >3kg - 2 capsules daily.
Cats <3kg - 1 capsule daily;
Cats >3kg - 2 capsules daily.
