Since the launch of the iconic bar with its moisturising cream in 1957, Dove has provided consumers globally with superior care and moisturisation. Care is integral to all our products. To this day Dove is the UK’s top cleansing bar* and continues to be a household staple.


Since 2004 we have been challenging beauty stereotypes through our Dove Self Esteem Project. We’re committed to helping girls strengthen their self-esteem and build a healthy body image. Our global mission is to reach 250 million lives by 2030. We’re also working towards ending hair-based discrimination through our CROWN initiative, which supports black women facing discrimination as a result of narrow beauty standards in the UK.


Dove is already at forefront of sustainable innovation; our iconic Dove Body Wash bottles are now made of 100% Post-Consumer Recycled plastic. This switch has removed 816 tonnes of virgin plastic from circulation per year. As well as being cruelty-free and PETA certified, our Body Wash formulations are up to 97% biodegradable, meaning that we don’t linger in the environment once we are washed down the drain. No wonder Dove Body Wash is ranked #1**.


Going forward, Dove aims to become fully planet positive by 2030. We want to become the most positive beauty business in the world.
