Acceptance of orders

Boots reserves the right to restrict the number of items available for sale to any individual customer. All orders are subject to availability. If any items are not available and you paid using a debit/credit card or PayPal you will not be charged for the cancelled items. If you paid using an eVoucher or Boots Advantage Card points, you will be given a refund for the amount paid for the items.
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards and PayPal. Payment will be debited from your account when we despatch your order. We also accept Boots Advantage Card points, which will be debited when the order is placed.
All orders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We may submit your order to DataCash Fraud Services who securely review orders on behalf of boots.com to eliminate fraud and safeguard our customers’ transactions. We may also submit your address, date of birth and the value of your order to Experian Ltd. We will not be liable for any delays that this may cause to your order. Colour reproduction
Boots.com has made every effort to reproduce colours on the site as accurately as possible. However, different computers and mobile devices reproduce colours in slightly different ways and so exact colour matches are not yet possible over the internet.
This means that when you order products from the shop, colours may differ from what you see on the screen.
If you are not satisfied with the colour of the item you have ordered, we operate a returns policy.
Price information
Boots.com has taken great care to ensure prices are accurate. Prices may change over time, so if you use your previous orders within 'order history' as a way of re-ordering items, prices on your previous order may no longer be valid. However, the correct prices will be applied when the products are added to your current basket.
All prices include VAT where appropriate. Promotions and prices you see in Boots high street stores do not always apply to boots.com, and vice versa.

Disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment and batteries
In the past, most waste electrical and electronic equipment and batteries have ended up in landfill sites, where the toxic materials some of them contain can put communities at risk.
However, facilities now exist for these products to be collected separately from normal household waste and sent for recycling. This enables the hazardous materials to be disposed of safely and other materials to be used to make new products.
So that you can get your waste electrical goods recycled, we have contributed towards a national fund to assist local councils to further develop their existing household recycling centres to deal with this additional waste. Waste household batteries can also be disposed of at local council sites or at the special collection points that are in Boots shops and other locations.
All new electrical and electronic products and batteries are now marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol to remind consumers to recycle. In the case of batteries this is sometimes accompanied by the letters "Pb", "Cd" or "Hg" to indicate that lead, cadmium or mercury may be present.
In order to buy an eGift voucher, you must be registered to boots.com. A recipient of an eGift voucher must have a valid email address, and although it is possible to receive an eGift voucher without being registered to boots.com, it is not possible to redeem before registration.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to collect Boots Advantage Card points when buying an eGift voucher. However, points are awarded when the eGift voucher is redeemed.
Our eGift vouchers may only be redeemed on boots.com, towards the purchase of items listed on boots.com, sold by boots.com. They cannot be spent in any of our other shops or with Boots Opticians.
When payment is made with an eGift voucher, your account is debited immediately upon order acknowledgement.
This eGift voucher has a cash redemption value of 0.001p and is not transferable or assignable.
Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's eGift voucher account.
If the order exceeds the amount of the eGift voucher, the rest of the balance must be paid by credit or debit card, or by PayPal.
If you request a refund for an order paid for by eGift voucher, your refund will be processed to the same eGift voucher account. Unfortunately it is not possible to issue refunds to alternative payment types.
eGift vouchers and unused portions of eGift vouchers expire one year from the date of issue.
Buying or redeeming eGift vouchers is subject to our normal terms and conditions and order validation procedures.

Terms & Conditions – Boots Beauty Awards x Jet2holidays Prize Draw
Vote in the Boots Beauty Awards 2024 at https://www.boots.com/beauty-awards-voting-form in the 12 categories and enter your name & email address to be in with the chance of winning a 7-night Jet2holiday to Costa del Sol.
Enter between 00.01 28th August 2024 and 23.59 24th September 2024. You must be aged 18+ and a resident in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. Employees, officers and the immediate family of Boots UK Limited, Jet2holidays Limited, Jet2.com Limited, Jet2 plc, their agents, or any companies within the same group, or anyone professionally connected with this prize are ineligible to enter. An independent person, selected by Boots, will randomly select the winner.
The winner will be randomly selected by Boots using a computer-generated process. The winner will be notified via an email from Jet2holidays, using the email address used to enter the promotion, by 1st October 2024[AK2] . The winner will have 5 working days to respond before another entrant is randomly selected. 1 entrant will be picked at random. The winner of the prize draw will win: a 7-night holiday for 2 adults (aged 18 years or over at time of travel) in a double or twin room on an all inclusive basis at the Sol Torremilinos Don Pablo, Costa del Sol. This prize must be booked by 30th November 2024 and taken and travel to and from the destination must be completed between one of the following date bands (including all return travel): 07/11/2023 – 14/12/2023 or 09/01/2024 – 08/02/2024 or 27/02/2024 – 21/03/2024 or 16/04/2024 – 23/05/2024 or 11/06/2024 – 18/07/2024 or 29/07/2024 – 05/08/2024 or 04/09/2024 – 17/10/2024. Transfers to and from the airport in the UK are not included. No optional flight/board//transfer/accommodation supplements are included in the prize. Travel insurance is not included. Winners are advised to take out their own insurance.
If a prize is not booked by the applicable date, it will be deemed forfeited.
The prize is subject to these terms and conditions (“Prize Terms”) and the Jet2holidays' and Jet2.com's terms and conditions (together the "Terms and Conditions") which can be found at http://www.jet2holidays.com/terms-and-conditions and http://www.jet2.com/terms respectively. The holiday shall not constitute a ‘package’ under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (the “Regulations”) and the Regulations shall not apply, nor shall the applicable provisions of the Terms and Conditions which relate to the Regulations. In the event of any conflict between the Terms and Conditions, and these Prize Terms, these prize draw terms and conditions will take precedence.
Prize flights are limited on the flights operated by Jet2.com and may be unavailable even if there is general availability on a particular flight.
Jet2holidays reserves the right (but shall be under no obligation) to substitute the prize or any element of the prize with alternative dates/property/transfers/destinations at any time, to the equivalent prize value.
Jet2holidays reserves the right to amend or cancel the flights or holiday for any reason without prior notice. Please note that flight schedules are not guaranteed.
The prize and each element of the prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. The prize may only be taken by the prize draw winner along with any accompanying passenger(s) notified to Jet2holidays in the relevant booking, subject to the maximum number of passengers specified within the prize details. Flights must be taken by all passengers at the same time from the same airport. Once you have made your booking this cannot be amended.
The prize duration may not be extended and no element of the prize may be changed by the winner. Additional passengers outside the maximum amount permitted in the prize details may not be booked onto the prize booking.
All passengers must have a valid passport to travel, and must meet all relevant visa and/or other entry requirements including any medical/health screening requirements or similar.
Entrants’ details will be used to administer the prize draw and award the prize. Details will be used in accordance with the Jet2holidays privacy policy (see https://www.jet2holidays.com/privacy-policyhttp://www.jet2.com/privacy).
When entering the prize draw entrants will be invited to opt in to receiving marketing [LC4] from Jet2holidays. If entrants choose to opt in, their details will be passed by Boots to Jet2holidays and retained by Jet2holidays for the purposes of marketing (which may include activities such as passing on information about deals, offers and promotion codes from Jet2holidays). Boots will also transfer the winner’s data to Jet2holidays to enable Jet2holidays to provide the prize.
Where Jet2holidays makes any changes to the prize (including dates of travel), no compensation or cash equivalent will be available. Jet2holidays will not be liable for any cancellations or changes to the prize draw or any prize, or for any loss or damage entrants or accompanying passengers suffer as a result of entering the prize draw provided that nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the liability of Jet2holidays in relation to personal injury or death caused by Jet2holidays negligence or for fraud.
Prizes cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them. The judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered in to.
The promoter of the prize draw is Boots UK Limited, 1 Thane Road, Nottingham NG90 1BS. The promoter will, on request, make available details of winner (surname and county of residence). If you object to your surname and county being made available on request in the event of winning, you must notify the promoter by contacting boots.customercare_team@boots.co.uk. Your details can still be made available to the Advertising Standards Authority, should it request this information, to assess compliance with the CAP Code.
