Clinique’s tapered, flat Foundation Brush makes it easy to apply foundation to all the angles of your face, including narrow areas around your nose, mouth, eyes, and hairline.

Use our professional makeup brush to seamlessly apply and blend liquid foundation or powder foundation, working from the center of your face outward.

This brush is one of our best foundation brushes. We also have a Foundation Buff Brush.

How to use

  • For liquid foundation, start with a small amount on the back of your hand, dab with brush, and smooth over your face.

  • For cream or powder foundation, sweep brush across surface of compact and apply to face.

  • Use broad strokes for large surface areas of the face: cheeks, chin, forehead.

  • Use edge of brush to reach narrow areas: nose, mouth, eyes, or hairline.

  • Pat and blend.

  • We recommend cleaning makeup face brushes daily or weekly depending on frequency of use. Clinique’s gentle Makeup Brush Cleanser spritzes on to clean cosmetic brushes and remove makeup residue build-up.
