Caudalie is a French skincare brand established in 1995 in Bordeaux, on the Château Smith Haut Lafitte wine-growing estate. Caudalie was established after founders Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas met Professor Vercauteren, Laboratory Director of the Pharmacy University of Bordeaux and specialist in Polyphenols, natural active ingredients derived from grape seeds with extraordinary antioxidant powers. All skincare products are created in France and developed using natural ingredients from the vine and grapes.
Caudalie’s mission? To become the most effective, clean and natural brand, and the most environmentally friendly beauty brand. For this reason, our products are made using innovative and patented ingredients. We also ensure that each of our products follows a strict “Cosm’ethics” charter, by which we have excluded more than 70 undesirable substances from our formulas in favour of natural ingredients. Since 2012, Caudalie has been involved with the 1% for the Planet and launched 100% PLASTIC COLLECT, an environmental project dedicated to plastic pollution in oceans.
