Bazuka Sub-Zero removes warts and verrucas. Bazuka Sub-Zero is a freezing wart and verruca removal device based on the cryotherapy method used by doctors.

How it works

Bazuka Sub-Zero is based on cryotherapy - a recognised 'freezing' method used by doctors and healthcare professionals. It can freeze the wart or verruca to the core in just one treatment and in most cases, after 10 days, the treated wart or verruca will fall off, revealing new skin that has formed beneath.

Bazuka Sub-Zero may be preferable for more stubborn warts and verrucas, and when a really rapid treatment is desirable. It's suitable for adults and the elderly, and for children down to the age of four. Because the sudden freezing process can be painful, Bazuka Sub-Zero is not recommended for children younger than four.

Verrukill technology

Unlike other freezing products, Bazuka Sub-Zero uses Verrukill technology, a patented double protection security system to help make sure it can be used safely. Thanks to experts at Bazuka, the freezing agent can only be discharged using the special safety cap, and users can see when the applicator is charged with the freezing agent, enabling them to localise the treatment accurately onto the wart or verruca. Some alternative freezing products do not 'contain's the freezing agent very well and so are more prone to harmful side effects.

Suitable for

Adults and children aged 4 years and above.

Very Disappointing and Potentially Dangerous I bought this in a Boots shop and tried using it as directed. The instructions seem a little complicated at first, but as you work through them they become quite clear. Having inserted the foam applicator in to the nozzle, fitted the safety cap and pressed down on it for three seconds, the freezing chemical sprayed out around the neck of can over my fingers. When I applied the foam tip to my foot, it wasn't cold and it doesn't appear to have had any effect. It says the process can be painful, but I didn't think that would apply to my fingers. On the plus side, it didn't hurt my foot at all. The treatment process took around ten minutes, including preparation of my foot, reading the instructions and applying the treatment. June 11, 2015
Useless If I could review without granting any stars I would. This is one of the more expensive treatments on offer but it hasn't worked at all. Supposedly you use it once and that is it, after a week or so the verruca falls off. I've used it several times and it's still there. It is also quite messy to use. When loading up the applicator sponge the freezing liquid spills out of the cap. They warn it is painful but it wan't so bad. But that said, it didn't work so now I have to go spend more money buying something else. Avoid. April 25, 2016
Not effective Initially it seemed quite complicated... but after the 10th use with no effect at all. It was quite simple to use...... but useless! May 23, 2016
