Day 2 PCR Post-Travel Tests for travellers not fully vaccinated*
This service is available in the UK only; any orders placed outside of the UK will be cancelled. From Friday 11 February, if you qualify as fully vaccinated, you will not need to quarentine or take a Day 2 COVID-19 Test upon your return. For full details, please read the government guidance available here.
*For those who do NOT qualify as fully vaccinated, you will need to book and purchase a Day 2 PCR Test prior to travel, to be taken after you return to the UK.
Purchase your test kit online through the ReCoVa-19 portal
Register your details and purchase your test(s). You will then receive your booking reference number (which you need to record on your Passenger Locator Form) & you will receive your test kit(s) within 2 days of dispatch.
Activate your test kit and complete the test as per the instruction leaflet(s) included.
Day 2 PCR completed tests will need to be posted using a Royal Mail priority postbox.
Get your result
Day 2 results are typically available within 24 to 48 hours of the receipt of the sample by the laboratory.

Day 2 PCR Post-Travel Testing Service for travellers not fully vaccinated*
This service is currently intended for those who are 18 years or over, not fully vaccinated and will be arriving in the UK following international travel.
Your test kit(s) will be dispatched the day after your order is placed and should arrive at your chosen delivery address within 2 working days of dispatch. Please note, Sundays and Bank Holidays are not working days for Royal Mail.
What you must do when you arrive in the UK from abroad depends on your age, vaccination status and where you have been in the 10 days before you arrive in the UK. Please check the relevant guidance for your vaccination status and the country you are returning from to see which applies to you and your country of travel.

Activate your kit on the ReCoVa-19 portal before taking the test
Please make sure you visit the ReCoVa-19 portal and activate your kit when you do your test. Failure to do so will mean that you are unable to access your test result.
