We have been informed of a potential safety issue with the mug in this set. In some instances, the base of the mug is cracking and separating when in use, therefore, this product is being recalled.

Britax Römer has decided to conduct a voluntary recall of the Baby-Safe 5Z infant carrier. There is a potential safety issue with a gap that can form between the handle and seat-shell of the Baby-Safe 5Z, usually only on one side. The gap does not impact the performance of the car seat in the vehicle or in a crash, however there is a safety risk when carrying the infant carrier outside of a vehicle. In rare cases there can be an unexpected detachment of the handle causing sudden movements of the shell and/or surprise of the person carrying the Baby-Safe 5Z. This may lead to the infant carrier falling down or colliding with other items and in unfortunate circumstances to an injury of the infant. The following communication has been provided by CooperVision regarding this recall:CooperVision® Hy-Care multipurpose contact lens solutionWe have been advised of a voluntary recall by contact lens solutions manufacturer, CooperVision, of Hy-Care® multipurpose contact lens solution (60ml and 250ml, 360ml bottles).The manufacturer’s quality testing determined that the product may not offer appropriate levels of disinfection in some circumstances against high levels of a particular yeast organism. Although no complaints have been received and there have been no confirmed incidents attributed to inadequate disinfection, this action is being taken as a precautionary measure. We have been notified by Fitbit that they have announced a voluntary recall of their Ionic Smartwatches. The model number is FB503 and this can be found on the rear of the watch, as shown in the picture above. These watches were sold between 2017 and 2020.


The battery in the watches can overheat, posing a burn hazard to the wearer. As a result owners of these watches are asked to stop using them and register to receive a full refund.

Ecover is recalling bottles of Ecover Zero Non Bio Laundry Liquid 1.5 litres with two specific batch codes due to a safety concern.


This product was sold through UK retail outlets from November 2020. 


The affected bottles contain potassium hydroxide at hazardous levels that can cause the bottle to leak. 


Contact with the liquid could result in harm to skin and eyes, including causing skin burns or eye damage.


Stop using immediately. Do not open or use the product. Handle any leaking bottles with gloved hands.

We have been informed by Jack Wills of  a potential safety issue with the ceramic mugs in these sets. In some instances, the base of the mug is cracking and separating when boiling water is applied, so, as a precautionary measure, these products are being recalled.

Testing of retained samples have shown that the above product was found to contain Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which is a bacteria. On-going investigations on marketed samples are underway. However, Boots take matters of this nature extremely seriously and have decided to recall the affected batch.


The affected batch is 1DD (expiry date 08/2023) which has been sold between 20th August 2020 and 23rd September 2020. The batch number and expiry date can be found on the box and on the crimp of the tube.  

If you have tube(s) from batch 1DD, we ask that you stop using it and return the product to any Boots Store where you’ll receive a refund (or alternative product if appropriate). Both opened and unopened tube(s) from batch 1DD should be returned, you don’t need your receipt.


If you know someone who has used Boots Derma Care Hydrocortisone Ointment 1% in August or September, please make them aware of this notice.
