​​​​​​​What was the inspiration behind C-Lash?

The idea of C-Lash came about when I lost my own lashes to chemotherapy and I struggled to wear the false eyelashes that were on the market. I found application tricky and they drooped due to my lack of natural lashes to support them. I wanted a false eyelash that catered for cancer sufferers and looked to solve the challenges they faced when it came to wearing false eyelashes.

What does C-Lash stand for?

After getting cancer, the letter ‘C’ become associated only with cancer and I wanted to “re-claim” the alphabet. C-Lash is not about cancer, it’s about all those amazing qualities you identify in yourself to beat it – Courage, Confidence, Conviction, Can-do, Champion – removing the C from cancer and empowering it.

What makes C-Lash different to general strip lashes available in-store? 

I designed a lash that included an extra element. A clear band that attaches to the lash-line itself and made the position of the lash on the eye and the adhesion so much stronger. It helps the lash balance on the eye, ensuring the style did not droop over the course of a day’s wear.

What advice would you give to someone purchasing C-Lash for the first time?

Firstly, chose a lash that is comfortable for you, we have Naturals, Volume and Lengthening in the collection. Secondly, follow the instructions inside the package. You will find C-Lash really easy to apply if you do so.

What has been the biggest thing you have learnt during your C-Lash journey?

I learned that you don’t need to see the whole stairway to take the first step. Sometimes it is hard to see the whole picture, but that’s OK – you just need to stay focused and keep the faith.
