Cherry Healey, 38, is a TV presenter, author and sexpert/podcaster (she co-hosts the brilliant female sexual empowerment podcast, The Hotbed Collective). Here she shares her wellbeing hits, from experimenting with sex to having a telly in the boudoir…

My morning ritual is…
Sticking on Radio 4’s Today, getting the kids up, then lying on the bed for 15 minutes checking my emails to reset – I’m not really a morning person!

My bedtime routine is…

Often involves scrolling for ages on Instagram. Phones in the bedroom don’t kill romance – intimacy breaks down because something else is going wrong in the relationship. My boyfriend and I have a giggle over what’s online, and it sparks chat. We recently put a TV in our bedroom, too, and it’s brilliant as we go to bed earlier more often, and are physically closer because we’re in bed.

I always tell my loved ones to…
Never forget I love them. You can feel when someone loves you. It’s about being interested in what they’re doing, even if it’s the fifth time I’ve seen [the kids] do a crap magic trick! I want them to know they’re so loved, not for achievement or because they look a certain way, but because they’re wonderful.

My favourite mantra is…
The more you have sex, the more you want it. Women deserve to have fun sex – if it’s gone stale, address it. We learn how to be better at our careers or good at a hobby, but we don’t do that with sex. My suggestion is to get interested in sex. Buy a book, read about it, get a new technique. Don’t be intimidated by it.

My biggest turn on…
Being kissed on the neck. It’s ‘go’ time! Sex is not just about orgasm. It’s all of the things around it – the touching, the closeness, the skin-on-skin and being allowed to run free with what’s going on in your head.

I love to cook…
Spag bol. Everyone’s trying to cut down on meat consumption, and a really easy way is to use 40% good quality butcher mince and 60% Quorn mince. Boom! I’ve slightly lost my mojo for cooking since I was on Celebrity Masterchef [in 2016] – I was practising until 2am every night!

My favourite way of relaxing is…
Taking myself out for lunch. I read the papers, stare into space. I’ve learned to stop running around like a mad woman. It’s about treating myself with love.

The bad habit I’m glad I’ve kicked…
Dieting! The first time I went on one, I was 16 on holiday in America and decided I was fat – I was sporty with muscular legs, but all the girls in magazines were so thin. I then started to learn the calorie content of every single food on the planet. It’s a different world now – thank God for athletes like Jessica Ennis!

I inject positivity into my life by…
Being really thankful. It’s the ultimate magic trick.

No. 1 on my gratitude list is…
Falling in love again and having hot sex! When I divorced three years ago I didn’t expect any of this was possible. I’m not saying everyone should get divorced, but there’s a silver lining!
