Our top vegan beauty picks
We’ve rounded up the (plant-based) cream of the crop. Enjoy!
It's no secret that veganism is on the rise, but ‘going vegan’ is no longer just about the contents of your fridge. Oh no, it’s about what’s in your beauty bag, too.
Gone are the days when you were limited in terms of vegan beauty products, now there’s a whole host of brands bringing the buzz. From The Ordinary and Urban Decay to Garnier and Mark Hill, some of the biggest names in the game have raised the bar with vegan-friendly products that don’t compromise on results.
What does vegan-friendly mean?
When something is free of all animal products and by-products (we’re talking things like beeswax, milk substance, egg whites and honey), it’s classed as ‘vegan-friendly’.
And what about cruelty-free? That means that neither the products, nor their ingredients, have been tested on animals at any point in the development process. Look out for the ‘Animal Test-Free’ logo or the ‘PETA Approved Global Animal Test Policy’ logo.
Curveball though – something that’s vegan is not necessarily cruelty-free (although lots of products are both), so it’s important to read up.
To help make your next vegan beauty haul that bit easier, we've handpicked some much-loved products. Let’s get to it!
