As promised, quick but...
...does not last.
The thing is with top coats, is that they require daily application. Though this does what it says on the tin: dries at the speed of light, it does not last. Annoying, but nothing is perfect. Still, I'd rather have it than not.
I am happy to report for skeptics, that it dries within seconds. They make the process sound scientific (see the included instructions) but I say, dollop it on. It's a top coat, nothing more elevated than that. Sadly, for me anyway, it's not glossy and dried matte. A shame.
Apparently, it penetrates your nail polish to the base nail, as for this, I cannot be certain. All I can say, it's a nice top coat, pricey and worth it if you can afford it. I certainly do not like drumming my fingers waiting for nail polish to dry. Hopefully this will last. My last top end top coat became all gluey all too soon, but this has a 36 month shelf-life.
I wash my hands more than many others, being a keen cook, and noticed it peeled within a a day or two. So, I see my error. Top it up, and daily: there are no miracles, it's not a one time wonder job.

dries in seconds
Dries as soon as you put it on, very shiny and looks professional. I do not recommend if you are going for a matte look.

Extremely good, but by no means perfect
I do love this top coat.
When it says it dries in seconds, it means it; It's perfect for when you don't have much time, but want to do your nails quickly. The whole manicure will my dry in seconds, and you won't have to worry about catching them on anything when you'e putting on your shoes or jacket to leave the house.
It is beautifully shiny it's like having a layer of glass on your nails, and I have no doubt that it penetrates the full manicure - as I cannot use it on metallic nail colours without it completely ruining them. I will let this slide, however.
What I do not love about this top coat is that you get some serious shrinkage. You have to be quite conscientious about painting the tips of your nails, because this top coat absolutely will shrink that colour down and show off a small part of your nail tips, which looks kind of scruffy, and will get on your nerves. Another thing is that Seche Vite does get gloopier over time. it's thicker than most top coats anyway, but when you get about halfway down the bottle it will become unbearable. It's so bad that Seche even do a special thinner especially for Seche Vite called "Seche Restore", which is the best thinner I've ever tried, and you can use it in all of your nail polishes. But it is more money and it is an absolute pain and Seche insist that it is the only thinner you can use on Vite. Psht.
Overall it's a wonderful top coat, it really is. It's just a bit needy.
