Step 1 – Finding your undertone

The two main colour groups that we have throughout all our foundations are NW and NC. 


These stand for: Neutral Warm and Neutral Cool.

Find your shade


To find out if you’re more rosy or golden, you can take a picture of yourself in natural light with no make-up on.


Blur the photo out using your phone – this will leave you with a general all-over tone.


You may find that some parts of the skin are golden, but the majority is pink and vice versa – go with the colour you see the most.


If you identify both pink and golden tones you could be neutral, which we have shades available for.

Step 2 – Choosing your shade


Once you’ve decided whether you’re an NW or an NC, you can figure out which shade number you may be.


The lower the number, the lighter the shade. As the number increases, the shades get darker.
