During her time at Boots, she’s worked in a variety of writing roles, including as a subeditor for the boots.com editorial team as
well as working on international projects and writing product and brand pieces.
Kirsty now works across beauty, health, and wellness for the in-house copy team, on everything from social assets to emails and

He is now an experienced prescriber supporting the Boots Online Doctor service. He spends some of his time in store where he
prescribes through both the private service and the NHS funded Pharmacy First Plus in Scotland.

Meera has a special interest in dermatology, in particular the management and treatment of acne. Huw graduated from the Welsh School of Pharmacy, Cardiff in 1985. Having complete a Diploma at Cardiff University, he trained as an Independent Prescriber at Swansea University in 2019.
Huw has over thirty years’ experience as a manager and pharmacist with Boots. During that time, he was member of Dyfed-Powys LPC and served as the Pharmacist Lead for the North Ceredigion GP Cluster. From 2020 to 2024, Huw worked at a GP Surgery where his role included running clinics for minor ailments, contraception, and menopause.

Patient safety is important to Boots. We created the Independent Medical Agency (IMA) to manage prescribing medicine via our online clinics.
The IMA pharmacists are all UK-registered and licensed healthcare professionals, just like our in-store pharmacists. You can check their details and registration status through the General Pharmaceutical Council website.
The IMA are responsible for the questions we ask you in any of the online clinic consultations. Any medicines ordered through one of our online clinics will be prescribed by an IMA pharmacist.
The IMA is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England and with the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) in Northern Ireland to provide services via our online clinics.

If you choose to collect in-store, it will be that store that will dispense your medicines.
If you choose to have your order posted to you then it will be looked after by Boots Online Pharmacy, Parkway, Centrum 100, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, DE14 2WA.
