Boots Micropur Water Purification Tablets Extra Strength:

Water Purification Tablets Extra Strength safely and effectively destroys the bacteria commonly found in contaminated water.

The contents of this pack will disinfect 50 litres of water.

How to use

Dissolve 1 tablet in each litre of clear water by stirring or shaking. Leave for 30 minutes. When there is a risk of Giardia contamination, leave for 2 hours. Water is then safe for drinking, cooking, cleaning teeth, washing food and other uses.

Hazards and Cautions


Do not drink or use Micropur treated water before disinfection is complete.

Not suitable for long-term continuous use.

Not suitable for pregnant women or children under 1 year.

As with any purification tablet system, Micropur cannot disinfect cloudy, murky water or water from ponds or streams.

In less developed parts of the world, water should be filtered in addition to using Micropur.

Warning

Causes serious eye irritation.

Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.

Keep out of the reach of children

Avoid release to the environment.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/ attention.

Contents / container hand over to an approved waste disposal facility.

Avoid contact with eyes.

Contact with acids releases toxic gas.

Each tablet contains: Silver 1.8 mg/g, Troclosene sodium 99.8 mg/g.
