Safer appointments at Boots

We are open for bookings if you need us, book here or find your store.

Please do not travel until a store has confirmed your appointment. Our absolute priority is keeping you and our staff safe and that’s why we’re taking great care to put comprehensive social distancing measures in place. From face masks to floor markings, when you next visit us at your confirmed appointment, you’ll notice that things are a little different than normal.

Is Boots Opticians open during lockdown restrictions?

Following the recent National Lockdown announcement, we can confirm that as an essential service we are open as normal. We have all of the necessary safety measures in place to keep you and our colleagues safe. In line with government advice we can safely see you for routine eye care appointments and we are taking extra precautions to keep you and our colleagues safe and provide the expert care we're known for.  We are open for bookings if you need us, book here or find your store

If your usual store is not reopening you will receive a letter to explain where your new Boots Opticians store is, or you can find your nearest store using our store locator. 

What if the next closest store isn't right for me?

If you find that your new store location isn’t quite right for you then don’t worry, we will be able to see you at any of our stores. Book your appointment online today or call 0345 125 3752*.

I have a glasses or contact lens order in progress at a closed store, what do I do next?

If you have an outstanding order at a closed store, then our store team will be in touch to get these to you as quickly as possible or they can be made available for you at your new nearest store. If you have any queries or concerns, please contact our team on 0345 125 3752*.

Thank you for your loyalty and support throughout these uncertain times. The last few months have been challenging for us all and for Boots Opticians this has meant making some difficult decisions. As a result, we won’t be reopening a number of our stores.
