Boots filters for face coverings provide proven bacterial filtration which makes them perfect for adding to basic face coverings or DIY masks to provide an additional barrier.

How to use

Always clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitiser before touching the filters and after handling your mask.

For basic face coverings and DIY masks:

  • Add the filter in to the pocket/pouch, of the face covering and ensure it is flat.
  • For coverings without a pocket/pouch, position the filter in the gap between the mask and your face.

For adding a filter to Boots Reusable Face Masks or Boots Children's Reusable Face Masks:
  • Hold the side of the mask open.
  • Slide the filter into the opening so the filter is no longer visible.
  • Ensure the filter is flat.

Remove the filter after each wear and dispose of the filter in the bin.
