Boots Cold Sore Treatment Patches promote fast healing and relieve pain, staying in place for up to 12 hours. Our ultra-thin patches work by using hydrocolloid technology to form a waterproof, protective barrier around the cold sore.

When the patch is applied, the inner hydrocolloid layer forms a gel on contact to absorb fluid from the wound. This maintains a discreet, moist cushion around the cold sore to help optimise healing, reduce scabbing and relieve pain.

Make-up or lipstick can be applied over the patch to further minimise its appearance.
