Amending personal details

How do I amend my personal details?

You can easily change your details by visiting the personal information page in  your Boots Advantage Card account.

Linking my Boots Advantage Card to my online account

You can easily link your Boots Advantage Card by visiting the ‘Manage my Advantage Card’ page in your account

How can I register/cancel/change my organ donor status via Boots Advantage Card?

Boots Organ Donor registration is run in partnership with NHS Blood and Transplant.

Getting a new/replacement card

What happens if my Boots Advantage Card is lost, stolen or damaged?

In order to replace your lost/stolen/damaged Advantage Card you will need to log in to your Boots.com account and head to 'Manage my Advantage Card'. Once you have selected the reason for replacing your card an instant digital Advantage Card will be created and added to your account. If you want to replace with a plastic card then simply pick one up when you're next in store and link this to your Boots account.

You can access these options via the Boots app too, just be sure to remove your existing card before adding your new card number.

I have a replacement Boots Advantage Card, how do I register the number to my account?

If you have a replacement Boots Advantage Card, your online account should automatically be updated. If your account has not been updated, then simply head to 'Manage my Advantage Card' to add your new card.

To update your details on the Boots app please ensure to remove your old Advantage Card before adding your new Advantage Card.

I have a Republic of Ireland (ROI) Boots Advantage Card, can I use it in the UK?

Unfortunately, ROI Boots Advantage Cards cannot be used in the UK Boots stores.

If you want to change your details over the phone or have any questions about your ROI Boots Advantage Card, please contact the ROI Boots Customer Care on 1 890 200 085**.

Can I use my UK Boots Advantage Card in the Republic of Ireland (ROI)?

Unfortunately, UK Boots Advantage Cards cannot be used in ROI Boots stores.

Registering on boots.com and collecting points

How do I retrieve the points I’ve collected when shopping online?

Your points will be automatically credited to your Boots Advantage Card account up to five days after you make your purchase on boots.com.

Points awarded from other Boots partners may take longer. Please refer to the relevant websites for full details.

You can see your points balance by logging in to your Boots Advantage Card account online, on the Boots app, or at the bottom of your till receipt in store.

I have a temporary Advantage Card, how do I register this to my Boots Account?

You can only register a permanent Advantage Card to your Boots account. To transfer from a temporary card to a permanent Advantage Card, simply sign up to the Advantage Card via the Boots app or Boots.com, where you will have the option to insert your temporary card number. This will transfer any existing points held on your temporary card to your permanent Advantage Card, which can then be linked to your Boots account under “Manage my Advantage Card”.

How do I collect points online with my permanent Boots Advantage Card?

Once you've registered for your Boots Advantage Card you can start collecting points on almost everything you buy*.

There are two ways to collect points online: 

You can register your permanent Boots Advantage Card to your online account. All you need to do is log in to your account and add your Boots Advantage Card to the account area. 

If you don't want to register the Boots Advantage Card to your account, you can just add the number to the basket at checkout. Boots Advantage Card points will be added to your Boots Advantage Card account when the order is charged.  

 *Points are not given for prescription items, infant milks (up to 6 months), gift vouchers/evouchers or cards, postage stamps, mobile phone top-up cards, gift boxes, at our 'third party sites' including Boots Kitchen appliances, on Boots Opticians products and services, Boots Hearingcare or on Boots Insurance

How do I collect points in store with my permanent Boots Advantage Card?

When you get to the till, scan your Digital Advantage Card or hand over your Boots Advantage Card along with the products you are purchasing. Your points will be instantly added to your card. 

Some items are excluded from the Boots Advantage Card points offer, these are: Infant milk (under 6 months), Stamps Gift vouchers or cards, Mobile Top ups, Boots Hearingcare, Travel services and Boots Insurance. 

Can I still collect points if I have forgotten my Boots Advantage Card?

If you are shopping in store and have forgotten your Boots Advantage Card, ask the cashier to validate your receipt when you make a purchase. If a receipt is validated, you can bring it into any Boots store with your Boots Advantage Card and the points can be transferred from your receipt onto your card. This must be done within 30 days of making your purchase.

How much is 1000 Boots Advantage Card points worth?

Each Advantage Card point is worth 1p, therefore 1000 points would be equivalent to £10. Don’t forget, you get 4 points for every £1 you spend with Boots Advantage Card

My points balance

How do I check my points balance in store?

There’s a Boots Advantage Card points statement at the bottom of your till receipt, which will tell you how many points you have collected with each purchase and how many you have collected all together. You can also find out your balance on the Boots app.

How do I check my points balance online?

To check your points online, you'll need to sign up for an account and register your Boots Advantage Card. You can then check your balance via 'My account.'

To check your points balance via the app, you will need to ensure you have added your Advantage Card to the app, once you have done this your points balance will be visible on the app home screen.

You can also find your points balance on your Boots receipt when shopping in store.

Spending points

How do I spend my points?

You can spend your points any time on almost anything in store and get that wonderful ‘I’ve paid with my points’ feeling. When you get to the till, simply present your Digital Advantage Card on your device, or hand over your Boots Advantage Card and let the cashier know you would like to pay with points. You cannot part-pay with Boots Advantage Card points, so you’ll need the full amount of points for the product you choose. For example, 199 points will pay for a product priced at £1.99. The total price in points will then be deducted from your Boots Advantage Card balance.

You can spend your points on boots.com by selecting the Boots Advantage Card icon once you checkout.

To spend points on boots.com, you must first link your Boots Advantage Card to your Boots account. You must have enough points on your Boots Advantage Card to cover the cost of the products you wish to purchase. You will need a permanent Boots Advantage Card to be able to spend your points. To sign up for a permanent Boots Advantage Card visit our sign up page. You cannot spend Boots Advantage Card points with our third party retailers, including Boots Kitchen Appliances.

I bought a product using my points, am I still entitled to an exchange/refund?

Yes. If you are taking a product back into store, please ensure you bring the Boots Advantage Card which was used in the transaction so the points can be credited back on to the account. Our standard refund policy applies for the product(s).

What is my offers?

We’ve brought together a set of offers and news that are just for you. From special offers that are tailored to you, to letting you know about the latest and greatest offers available in our stores this week, you’ll find all you need here. Your offers get updated all the time, so keep coming back to see what’s new for you.

How do I use my offers? Do I need to print out coupons or codes?

Once you’ve found an offer you would like to use, simply select it and it’ll be immediately loaded on to your Boots Advantage Card, ready for you to redeem in store. There’s no need for paper coupons or codes, just all the fantastic offers you want at your fingertips. Please note, you will need a Boots Advantage Card to access my offers.

Can I use my personalised offers online?

Unfortunately, your personalised offers are only available to use in store and cannot be redeemed on boots.com, through in-store ordering or any partnering sites.

What if I have to change my Boots Advantage Card?

Don’t worry – if you get a new card with a different number on it, we’ll automatically make adjustments so you’ll continue to receive all of your offers.

Can I forward offers to friends and family?

As we’ve specially selected these offers just for you, unfortunately you can’t forward them on to friends or family. But, why not get them to sign up for a Boots Advantage Card so they can access their own great offers?

How do I know when offers expire?

You’ll see an expiry date on every offer.

Clubs and schemes

How do I sign up for Over 60s Rewards or Boots Parenting Club?

To sign up for extra benefits online, you will need to have a Boots account and sign up for and link your Boots Advantage Card. During your Boots Advantage Card application, you’ll get the chance to sign up to Boots Parenting Club or Over 60s Rewards (for customers aged 60 or over).

If you already have a Boots account and your Boots Advantage Card is linked to it, you will need to log in and visit your Boots Advantage Card account and click the Parenting Club or Over 60s Rewards Logos.

I haven’t received anything from Boots Parenting Club since I joined

It can take four to six weeks for you to initially receive your welcome letter from Boots Parenting Club. If it has been longer than six weeks, please contact Boots Customer Care on 0345 124 4545*.

I haven’t received anything regarding Over 60s Rewards since I signed up

Once you have signed up, please allow four days for us to update your Advantage Card and then you will be able to collect eight points for every £1 you spend on Boots brands and selected exclusives. If it has been longer than four days, please contact Boots Customer Care on 0345 124 4545*.

I signed up to Boots Parenting Club but I’m not receiving my 8 points for every £1 when I shop for baby products in store

When you receive your welcome letter you will receive a voucher which must be taken into store and scanned at the till. This will activate the 8 points, crediting them to your Boots Advantage Card. If you have lost this voucher, please speak to a colleague in store and they will be able to activate the points deal at the till.

I signed up to Over 60s Rewards but I’m not receiving my 8 points for every £1 when I shop for selected Boots branded products in store & online

Once you have signed up, please allow four days for us to update your Advantage Card and then you will be able to collect eight points for every £1 you spend on Boots brands and selected exclusives. If it has been longer than four days, please contact Boots Customer Care on 0345 124 4545*. 

I no longer want to be a member of a club

If you no longer want to be a member of either Boots Parenting Club or Over 60s Rewards, you can either amend your details on boots.com or call Boots Customer Care on 0345 124 4545*.

Where can I pick up a Health & Beauty magazine?

As a Boots Advantage Card member, you can pick up a free copy of our Health & Beauty magazine in most Boots stores, six times a year. If you are not a member of Boots Advantage Card, the magazine costs £1.

How does Boots use my data?

We only share your details with companies in the Walgreens Boots Alliance group and businesses that process Boots Advantage Card information on our behalf (in the UK and abroad), for example to produce your Boots Advantage Card and print our mailings. We will analyse your purchase history to provide you with relevant and personalised offers, information and advice, in order to help you to choose products that are right for you. If you register your email address we may contact you by email. You can do this be amending your email preferences in your online Boots Advantage Card account or by calling Boots Customer Care on 0345 124 4545*. 

Please note you will gain an extra £1 worth of points added to your Boots Advantage Card when providing your email and opting in to marketing permissions.
