A traditional herbal medicinal product used to relieve the symptoms of the common cold and influenza type infections based on traditional use only.

Suitable for

Adults and children of 12 years and over.

How to use

Read all of the enclosed leaflet for full instructions before use.

Check the foil is not broken before use. If it is, do not take that tablet.
Start taking the tablets as soon as you get cold symptoms.

Age: Adults and children of 12 years and over.
How many and how often: One or two twice a day.

Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Do not give to children under 12 years.
Do not take more than the amount recommended above.
Do not take this medicine for more than 10 days.
If symptoms worsen, or are accompanied by a high temperature, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If your symptoms do not improve after 10 days talk to a doctor.

Hazards and Cautions

Before you take this medicine
Do not take:

If you are allergic to Echinacea or plants from the Asteraceae or Compositae family e.g. artichokes, daisies, marigolds
If you have tuberculosis
If you have sarcoidosis (a connective tissue disease)
If you have autoimmune disease (e.g. multiple sclerosis or collagenoses)
If you are having treatment which reduces your natural response to infection (immunosuppression), or if you have HIV infection or AIDS
If you have problems with your white blood cells (you may have been told you have leukaemia or argranulocytosis)
If you have had an organ or bone marrow transplant
If you are having any treatment for cancer
If you are taking ciclosporin or methotrexate
If you are prone to allergies (you have eczema, asthma or allergic skin reactions)
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

How to store this medicine
Do not store above 25°C.
Store in the original container.
Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
Use by the date on the base of the carton.

Active ingredient
Each film coated tablet contains 71.5 mg of extract (dry extract) from Echinacea purpurea root (6-7:1). This is equivalent to 429mg - 500 mg of Echinacea pururea (L) Moench, root.
