How Do I Make an Appointment and What Can I Expect

What can I expect?

In advance of your appointment you will be asked to complete a 'Pre-screening Questionnaire' so we are able to assess whether our ED service is suitable for you.

During your appointment your Boots Pharmacist:

• Will discuss with you the details of your completed questionnaire
• Will ask you a few additional questions about your medicines and your sexual history
• Will measure your blood pressure and carry out some simple blood tests

After these assessments the pharmacist will then confirm your suitability for the ED service. If your suitability is confirmed your Boots Pharmacist will discuss your ED medicine and treatment with you and answer any questions you may have.

If you decide to proceed with the Boots ED Service, your own GP will be informed that you are receiving medication when you join our ED programme. Additionally, if your Boots Pharmacist is concerned about any aspects of your health during your consultation, we will advise you to speak to your GP.
