Despite what many people think, 95% of those with vision correction needs can wear contact lenses*. You may not have considered choosing contact lenses or believed that they wouldn't be right for you, however today there are contact lenses which are suitable for almost everyone.
Thinking about trying contact lenses for the first time? Even if you love your glasses, there are probably times when you feel they get in the way. Whether you're playing sport or socialising, doing some work in the garden or even going outside in the rain, contact lenses can give you real freedom from glasses.
Soft contact lenses are now so comfortable that most people forget that they are wearing them after a few seconds. Advances in lens technology means contact lenses are now more comfortable than ever.
Contact lenses are also incredibly easy to wear and look after.

With summer just around the corner, some contact lens ranges, such as Acuvue, offer additional UV protection, meaning you can enjoy the freedom and flexibility of contact lenses whilst protection your eyes from harmful UV rays from the sun. Contact lenses with UV protection work by blocking harmful rays and stopping them entering your eyes; combined with UV blocking sunglasses, this provides excellent UV protection for your eyes.
