Despite what many people think, 95% of those with vision correction needs can wear contact lenses*. You may not have considered choosing contact lenses or believed that they wouldn't be right for you, however today there are contact lenses which are suitable for almost everyone.
Thinking about trying contact lenses for the first time? Even if you love your glasses, there are probably times when you feel they get in the way. Whether you're playing sport or socialising, doing some work in the garden or even going outside in the rain, contact lenses can give you real freedom from glasses.
Soft contact lenses are now so comfortable that most people forget that they are wearing them after a few seconds. Advances in lens technology means contact lenses are now more comfortable than ever.
Contact lenses are also incredibly easy to wear and look after.
With summer just around the corner, some contact lens ranges, such as Acuvue, offer additional UV protection, meaning you can enjoy the freedom and flexibility of contact lenses whilst protection your eyes from harmful UV rays from the sun. Contact lenses with UV protection work by blocking harmful rays and stopping them entering your eyes; combined with UV blocking sunglasses, this provides excellent UV protection for your eyes.
Whether you are long-sighted, short-sighted, have astigmatism or use glasses for reading; we have contact lenses to suit your needs.
Daily disposables, wear once and then throw away, giving you a fresh lens every day and you don't have to worry about cleaning, solutions or storage. Many different lenses are now available in daily disposable form, such as toric lenses.
Reusable lenses for daily wear for up to two to four weeks, depending on the type you choose. These lenses can be a more economical option.
Toric lenses, specially designed for people with astigmatism, where the eye shape causes blurred or distorted sight. These lenses are tailored to fit to the shape of the astigmatic eye and are available as either daily or reusable lenses.
Multifocal lenses are for people with presbyopia, a condition which develops as we age, making it more difficult to adjust your focus. Multifocal lenses allow you to see both near and far.
