Wonderlands best-kept beauty secrets

Kasey, Corrina, Jodi, Leigh and Sharon – better known as gorgeous girl group Wonderland – take some time out to share their top beauty tips with us in an exclusive interview.

Do you each have an individual look or have you created a look for yourselves as a group?

Kasey: We all have our own individual look but as a band we all come together. We share a lot of our beauty products.

What's your backstage beauty essential?

Kasey: Probably the 17 all-over body shimmer. It just makes you feel like you're glowing.

Corrina:~ I've recently gotten into Benefit High Beam. It just gives you a really lovely glow and accentuates the cheekbones.

Jodi: Hair serum and a good moisturiser. The only thing I really spend a lot of money on is my moisturiser, although I really love NIVEA as an all-purpose, everyday moisturiser.

What beauty trends can't you wait to try this summer?

Corrina: I'm kinda looking forward to wearing more natural make up. I love looking really fresh and throwing on a little T-shirt and shorts. I can't wait to wear my flipflops either!

What's the one product you can't live without?

Corrina: Eyeliner – I just feel so naked without it. I love a nice smoky eye and think a good black eyeliner really sets that off. I love the Barry M Kohl Eye Pencil.

Sharon: I love mascara. No matter how tired you are, a little bit of mascara really opens up your eyes. I like using Rimmel Volume Flash X10.

Leigh: Probably lip balm. I use it every day. I usually use Vaseline – I like the Rosy Lips one.

Tell us about your worst make up mistake

Kasey: When I was about 13 or 14 and trying out make up for the first time, I tried wearing pink eyeshadow. It made my eyes look sore!

Leigh: As you get older and look back, you realise you've made a lot of mistakes. I used to put black eyeliner on the inside of my eyelids on my water line and it just made my eyes look smaller.

Jodi: I think the make up mistake that happens a lot, and I'm guilty of this too, is combining strong eyes and lips. I don't usually wear eyeshadow, but when I do I just can't bring myself to go without lip colour so I wear both. I know it's wrong, but I still do it!

When you get a day off, what pampering treats do you like to indulge in?

Sharon: Sometimes I just like to stay in the apartment and give myself a little manicure, pedicure and hair treatment.

Leigh: I definitely like to not wear make up all day, put a face mask on, take my nail varnish off and do a nice manicure and pedicure. I like to let my skin breathe ready to put all my make up back on the next day!

Who takes the longest to get ready?

Corrina: We're all pretty quick at getting ready. Sometimes you only have 15 minutes to get out the door, so we've kind of mastered getting ready really fast!

Do you ever steal each other's beauty products?

Sharon: Yes, we're all stealing each other's eyelash glue at the moment. We just started wearing false lashes and we fell in love with them, so we've been wearing the Eylure ones loads recently.

If you could bring out your own make up line, what products would you include?

Kasey: Probably mascara that makes your lashes look really, really thick. And a nice shimmery lip gloss.

Sharon: A body shimmer and maybe a nice set of easy-stick false lashes. "Lashes for Dummies" I'd call them!

Leigh: I'd do some really cool lip glosses in unusual colours, like mint green and blue. I'd like some bright, fresh colours.

Jodi: I would include an amazing mascara that makes your lashes really thick and long, a dewy product to make eyes and lips glow, a fabulous lip liner and a warm bronzer. I love that natural, dewy kinda look.

Do you have any backstage beauty secrets you can share?

Sharon: Lip gloss. That's the one thing we top up most on. Collection 2000 do a lovely pink one.

What's your favourite perfume?

Kasey: Alien by Thierry Mugler. I love it, it's amazing.

Leigh: I have a few favourites. I love sweet perfumes, like Armani Code and Hugo Boss Deep Red, and I wear Marc Jacobs Daisy in the summer.

Jodi: I love Lola by Marc Jacobs and Armani Diamonds. There's one perfume that I've worn for ages and that's Michael Kors. I love that one.

Who is your idol?

Kasey: Rihanna. I just love how funky she is. She's always trying out new things and she can really rock a red lip!

Corrina: I love Natalie Maines from the Dixie Chicks. She's a real strong woman and she speaks her mind.
