How does Primolut N work?

Primolut N has similar actions to the hormone progesterone. It works by delaying your period until the tablets are stopped.

How do I take Primolut N?

You will need to take one Primolut N tablet three times a day, starting three days before your period is due to commence and continuing for no more than 14 days afterwards (17 days in total). Your period will be delayed while you are taking the tablets and should start two to three days after you stop taking them.

Possible side effects

Primolut N can cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them. The side effects are rare and include nausea, worsening of epilepsy, worsening of migraines and skin problems.
