Home Assist Service

Giving you reassurance that someone is always there to help you at home at the touch of a button

Care and support at home

Living at home can be hard sometimes if you or a loved one is elderly or physically less-abled. If you're looking for extra support, then telecare is an option which can help offer care and reassurance for people who want to keep living independently in their own homes or with the help of carers. It can also give families all-important peace of mind.

Is the service right for me?

Boots have joined up with specialist telecare provider Tunstall Healthcare to offer Home Assist. The service gives round-the-clock assistance with an easy-to-use pendant that, when pressed, alerts a member of the on-call support team when you or your loved one needs help at home.

Home Assist can help reclaim some of the independence and confidence you or your loved ones may have lost in later life. It may be particularly helpful for people who:

  • Live alone
  • Are older
  • Are less mobile
  • Are unwell
  • May be at risk of falling
  • Recently returned from hospital
  • Don't have regular visitors
  • Are worried about intruders or crime

How it works

1

Press the button on the pendant

2

Talk to the UK-based Tunstall support team through a base hub unit installed in your home

3

The support team will respond and call a key holder or 999 if necessary
