The following frequently asked questions should help answer your Boots Advantage Card queries.
Amending personal detailsHow do I amend my personal details?
You can easily change your details by visiting your Boots Advantage Card account.
Boots Organ Donor registration is run in partnership with NHS Blood and Transplant.
If you would like to amend your details, register specific organs or remove yourself from the NHS Organ Donor Register please contact the Organ Donor Line on 0300 123 23 23 or visit their website. If you would also like the symbol removing from your Boots Advantage Card, please contact Boots Customer Care on 0345 124 4545*.
Getting a new/replacement cardWhat happens if my Boots Advantage Card is lost, stolen or damaged?
If your Boots Advantage Card is lost, stolen or damaged we can send you a replacement Boots Advantage Card and transfer your old points balance onto it.
To report a card lost or stolen, log in to your Boots Advantage Card account and visit ‘order a new card’ to fill out the online form.
If you have a replacement Boots Advantage Card, your account should be automatically updated. If it’s not, please contact Boots Customer Care on 0345 124 4545*.
If it’s been more than three weeks since you applied, please call Boots Customer Care on 0345 124 4545*.
Please destroy your temporary card as soon as you have received your permanent card in the post.
Unfortunately, ROI Boots Advantage Cards cannot be used in the UK Boots stores.

Registering on boots.com and collecting pointsHow do I retrieve the points I’ve collected when shopping online?
Your points will be automatically credited to your Boots Advantage Card account up to five days after you make your purchase on boots.com.
Points awarded from other Boots partners may take longer. Please refer to the relevant websites for full details.
You can see your points balance by logging in to your Boots Advantage Card account online, on the Boots app, or at the bottom of your till receipt in store.
Unfortunately, you can’t register your temporary Boots Advantage Card with your Boots account. However, you can still collect points online by entering your temporary Boots Advantage Card number at checkout. Your temporary Boots Advantage Card number is the nine-digit number on the back.
Collecting Boots Advantage Card pointsHow do I collect points with my temporary Boots Advantage Card when I’ve signed up in store?
There is a temporary paper Boots Advantage Card on the front of your application form. When you’re in store, simply hand this over when you pay at the till and your points will be added automatically to your temporary Boots Advantage Card account.
To collect points online, you will need to enter your temporary Boots Advantage Card number at the checkout when you are making a purchase. Your temporary Boots Advantage Card number is the nine-digit number on the back.
You will need to wait for your permanent Boots Advantage Card to register this with your Boots account.
If you printed out a barcode, simply hand this over to be scanned when you make a purchase in store. If you are in store and you did not print out a barcode, just ask for your receipts to be validated and you can add them onto your Boots Advantage Card at a later date. You have 45 days from the date of your transaction to add your points onto your Boots Advantage Card, simply ask the cashier at the till to do this for you.
Once you’ve signed up to Boots Advantage Card, you can start collecting points on almost everything you purchase.
There are two ways to collect points online:
- You can link your permanent Boots Advantage Card to your account
- Fill in your Boots Advantage Card number at checkout to collect points. However, you will have to do this for each separate transaction
If you are using a Boots Advantage Card that belongs to someone else, then type the number in at checkout so you can collect points on their behalf, don’t register it to your account.
When you get to the till, hand your Boots Advantage Card to the cashier along with the products you are purchasing. Your points will be instantly added to your card.
If you are shopping in store and have forgotten your Boots Advantage Card, ask the cashier to validate your receipt when you make a purchase. If a receipt is validated, you can bring it into any Boots store with your Boots Advantage Card and the points can be transferred from your receipt onto your card. This must be done within 45 days of making your purchase.
My points balanceHow do I check my points balance in store?
There’s a Boots Advantage Card points statement at the bottom of your till receipt, which will tell you how many points you have collected with each purchase and how many you have collected all together. You can also find out your balance on the Boots app.
To check your points online, you’ll need to register with boots.com and link your Boots Advantage Card with your account. Once registered and logged in, your points balance will show at the top of the page.
Spending pointsHow do I spend my points?
You can spend your points any time on almost anything in store and get that wonderful ‘I’ve paid with my points’ feeling. When you get to the till, simply hand over your Boots Advantage Card and let the cashier know you would like to pay with points. You cannot part-pay with Boots Advantage Card points, so you’ll need the full amount of points for the product you choose. For example, 199 points will pay for a product priced at £1.99. The total price in points will then be deducted from your Boots Advantage Card balance.
You can spend your points on boots.com by selecting the Boots Advantage Card icon once you checkout.
To spend points on boots.com, you must first link your Boots Advantage Card to your Boots account. You must have enough points on your Boots Advantage Card to cover the cost of the products you wish to purchase. You will need a permanent Boots Advantage Card to be able to spend your points. To sign up for a permanent Boots Advantage Card visit our sign up page. You cannot spend Boots Advantage Card points with our third party retailers, including Boots Kitchen Appliances.
Yes. If you are taking a product back into store, please ensure you bring the Boots Advantage Card which was used in the transaction so the points can be credited back on to the account. Our standard refund policy applies for the product(s).

We’ve brought together a set of offers and news that are just for you. From special offers that are tailored to you, to letting you know about the latest and greatest offers available in our stores this week, you’ll find all you need here. Your offers get updated all the time, so keep coming back to see what’s new for you.
Once you’ve found an offer you would like to use, simply select it and it’ll be immediately loaded on to your Boots Advantage Card, ready for you to redeem in store. There’s no need for paper coupons or codes, just all the fantastic offers you want at your fingertips. Please note, you will need a Boots Advantage Card to access my offers.
Unfortunately, your personalised offers are only available to use in store and cannot be redeemed on boots.com, through in-store ordering or any partnering sites.
Don’t worry – if you get a new card with a different number on it, we’ll automatically make adjustments so you’ll continue to receive all of your offers.
As we’ve specially selected these offers just for you, unfortunately you can’t forward them on to friends or family. But, why not get them to sign up for a Boots Advantage Card so they can access their own great offers?

Clubs and schemesHow do I sign up for More Treats for Over 60s or Boots Parenting Club?
To sign up for extra benefits online, you will need to have a Boots account and sign up for and link your Boots Advantage Card. During your Boots Advantage Card application, you’ll get the chance to sign up to Boots Parenting Club or More Treats for Over 60s (for customers aged 60 or over).
If you already have a Boots account and your Boots Advantage Card is linked to it, you will need to log in and visit your Boots Advantage Card account and click the Parenting Club or More Treats for Over 60s logos.
You can also call Boots Customer Care on 0345 124 4545* who will be happy to help you sign up to any extra benefits that you are eligible for.
It can take four to six weeks for you to initially receive your welcome letter from Boots Parenting Club. If it has been longer than six weeks, please contact Boots Customer Care on 0345 124 4545*.

When you receive your welcome letter you will receive a voucher which must be taken into store and scanned at the till. This will activate the 10 points, crediting them to your Boots Advantage Card. If you have lost this voucher, please speak to a colleague in store and they will be able to activate the points deal at the till.
Please make sure you have registered your details correctly online and your account recognises you as a member of Boots Parenting Club. If your account details are correct, please call Boots Customer Care on 0345 124 4545* and they will be able to assist you.

Extra benefitsWhere can I pick up a Health & Beauty magazine?
As a Boots Advantage Card member, you can pick up a free copy of our Health & Beauty magazine in most Boots stores, six times a year. If you are not a member of Boots Advantage Card, the magazine costs £1.

We only share your details with companies in the Walgreens Boots Alliance group and businesses that process Boots Advantage Card information on our behalf (in the UK and abroad), for example to produce your Boots Advantage Card and print our mailings. We will analyse your purchase history to provide you with relevant and personalised offers, information and advice, in order to help you to choose products that are right for you.
