Remington XR1330 Hyperflex
The new HyperFlex from Remington is specially designed for closer more efficient shaving. Its new and improved pivoting and flexing head follows the contours of the face to get even the most stubborn stubble without catching the skin.
It has improved cutter technology for a more comfortable shave, wet or dry. And it’s Lithium powered for longer lasting performance and battery longevity – it gives you 50 minutes of use after 90 minutes of charging in its own stand. It’s a cordless shaver for total flexibility which means you’re not tied to the spot while you shave. The HyperFlex not only delivers even better shaving performance, but causes less skin irritation. However, it is recommended that you use your new shaver daily for up to four weeks to allow time for your beard and skin to become accustomed to the new shaving system.
Let’s get started
First of all make sure the appliance is fully charged:
• Connect the charging stand to the adaptor and then to the mains
• Place the shaver in the charging stand
• Charge for at least 24 hours before using it for the first time.
• Allow 90 minutes for a full charge.
The charging indicator light will tell you when the shaver is fully charged To preserve the life of your batteries, let them run out every 6 months then recharge them for 24 hours. The shaver automatically adjusts to a mains voltage between 100v and 240v.

Dry shaving with a HyperFlex for the first time
Stretch the skin with your free hand so the hairs stand upright. Apply light pressure on the shaving head while shaving - pressing too hard can damage the heads and make them vulnerable to breakage. Use short, circular strokes.
Shaving with gel
If you’re using gel, it’s just the same process as dry shaving. Remember though that the gel can get into the cutters so after use, please rinse the head and cutters under warm water to clean away any excess gel and debris.
• Push the trimmer button to release the detail trimmer
• Hold the trimmer at right angles to the skin
• Place the trimmer at desired trim line for a quick, easy, professional trim
• To retract and switch off the trimmer, push the trimmer down and lock into place
Getting the best results
No-one wants to spend all morning achieving a close shave. For best results, use moderate to slow stroking movements. The use of short circular motions in stubborn areas may obtain a closer shave, especially along the neck and chin line. Don’t press it hard against the skin as you may damage the rotary heads.
Looking after your shaver
Caring for your appliance will ensure a long lasting performance. We recommend you clean it after every use. The easiest and the most hygienic way to clean the appliance is by rinsing the head with warm water.
It may seem obvious but before putting the shaver anywhere near water, make sure it is switched off.
• Hold the head and gently pull up on the ribbed area to remove the hair
• Slide the cutter locking mechanism to remove the cutters
• Tap out excess hair shavings and use a cleaning brush if necessary
• Close head assembly
Cleaning the trimmer
Lubricate the teeth of the trimmer every six months with a drop of sewing machine oil or olive oil – not thick oil or engine oil!
If your shaver battery is completely empty or the shaver has not been used for a while, the shaver may not start when operated using the cord. If this occurs, charge the shaver for approximately 15 seconds before shaving.
