The next time you or a family member needs healthcare advice or information, don't forget that you can pop into your local Boots pharmacy to access a range of services and checks*

With more than 2,300 pharmacy stores in the UK, you should be able to quickly find a Boots pharmacy close to you. Your local Boots pharmacist can help answer your questions, give you advice and support or treatment and may just save you a trip to the doctor.

Our in-store pharmacy services

Whether it's a relatively minor problem, such as head lice in your children's hair, or more urgent problems, such as the need for emergency contraception, your Boots pharmacy team may be able to help. Some of the in-store health services we offer include*:

A range of NHS services such as stop smoking, emergency contraception or minor ailments are also available in some stores.

Our health services

Boots also offers different services to help you make the most of any medication you are taking or to help you understand new medicines. You can find out more about the following:

  • Free Medicines Check Up is a NHS service (only available in England and Wales), which can help you make sure you're getting the most from your medicines and understand as much as possible about your condition, to help you manage it as best you can
  • New Medicines Check is a free NHS service (only available in England) to help you get the most out of your newly prescribed medicine. It is ideal for people who have just been diagnosed with diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure and certain other conditions
  • NHS Discharge Medicines Review Service is available free of charge in Wales if you have just left hospital to provide extra advice and support with your medicines when you return home
  • Boots Medisure is a way of helping you, or someone you know, organise and take medicines at the right time every day

Also available in some Boots stores is a late night pharmacy service, which may stay open until midnight so that you can get your prescription dispensed, buy over the counter medicines or get advice and support.

Whatever questions you have about your health or medicines, remember you can always come to Boots and ask a pharmacist for any help or advice you may need, we will always try to help.
