The chic-est of lip and nail trends has returned!  This season, the most fashionable lips and tips are colour coordinated.

Revlon started it back in 1932 when it launched its first coloured nail polishes and swiftly began developing matching lipstick shades so women could chicly coordinate their lip and nail colours – and now we’ve spotted the trend for matching ‘lips and tips’ making a comeback within the autumn make-up collections. The fresh new way to wear? Lips should be subtly ‘stained’ on using fingers, while for nails, the talons are long gone. "The look now is all about short nails with slightly rounded edges, which look amazing with matching coloured lips,” says award-winning nail pro and Revlon fan Andrea Fullerton.

To bag the look, snap up our these goodies from the new autumn collections: Clarins Joli Rouge lipstick and Glossy Nail Colour in Clarins Red (only available in store) and Estee Lauder limited edition Pure Color Lipstick and Pure Color Nail Lacquer in Berry Cordial. For seriously chic lips and tips, head straight for our favourite Revlon Red lip and nail shade –(only available in store) one of the original Red shades Revlon created, it’s timeless, classic and still going strong after over 70 years.
