How to get smoky eyes like Amelle and Keisha:

  1. Apply a base coat of nude, beige or cream eyeshadow on your lids and up to your brow bone.
  2. Smokey eyes aren’t just about blacks, browns and greys. Why not blend all of these colours across your lids, right up to the crease, to create smoky eyes with an edge?
  3. Smudge the lighter colours towards your outer eye and sweep the darkest shade close to the lashes, to give impact and density.
  4. Don’t worry about getting this in a straight line; blend the shades together with an eyeshadow brush.
  5. A flash of colour can always be added to a smoky eye. Why not use purple, green or even blue shades to add an extra twist? In the video, I gave each girl a splash of colour to add impact. Try reds and bright colours on darker skins and blues on pale.
  6. Using either black liquid liner or kohl pencil, line above your upper lashes, then blend with your fingertip or a cotton bud.
  7. Complete the look with lashings of black mascara. This works fabulously on all skin colours.

How to get natural lips like Heidi:

  1. The nude lip has a place in everyone’s make-up bag, it’s timeless! It particularly suits pale-skinned blondes like Heidi. First prepare your lips and remove dead cells by brushing a dry toothbrush over your lips.
  2. Next add a lip balm to moisturise or wear lip plumper – lips need to be in tip top condition for the nude look.
  3. Pat on a nude lip shade with either your fingertips or a lip brush.
  4. Never overload your lips with too much colour.
  5. To lock in your colour, add a trace of lip liner and then blot away any excess onto a tissue. To get an incredibly fashionable look for the video, I gave Heidi matt lips without the lip liner.
