Nice 'n Easy Colour Blend Foam FAQs

Discover the answers to all your Nice 'n Easy Colour Blend Foam questions in our FAQs feature.

Got a question about your new Nice 'n Easy Colour Blend Foam home hair colourant? From coverage questions to application queries, our FAQs have it covered.

New Nice 'n Easy Colour Blend Foam

Q. How does Nice 'n Easy Colour Blend Foam work?

New Nice 'n Easy Colour Blend Foam offers an exciting alternative to traditional colourant products, thanks to technology invented by Clairol scientists. This technology works in conjunction with the Colour Blend foamer cap, specifically designed for the Colour Blend Foam formula to create a stable, lightweight foam that applies and spreads easily through the hair to give great coverage.

The special foam formula activates on contact with the hair to create a thin, liquid layer, covering each strand evenly. Because of this even, direct contact with the hair surface, the new foam allows the dye molecules to penetrate quickly, forming colour deep inside the hair.

Q. How many times do I need to shake the bottle?

Shake the bottle three times before first applying Nice 'n Easy Colour Blend Foam to your hair. The shaking process does not create the foam itself (this happens in the cap as you squeeze the bottle to dispense it) but is necessary to mix the dye and the developer together.

Q. Is this a permanent hair colour?

Yes, it is a permanent home hair colourant designed to deliver long-lasting colour (up to eight weeks).

Q. Does it provide grey coverage like my usual Nice 'n Easy colourant?

Yes, Nice 'n Easy Colour Blend Foam offers long-lasting grey coverage with results that last for up to eight week.

Q. Can I apply it over any other permanent hair colour?

Yes, the new Nice 'n Easy Colour Blend Foam is safe to use on top of/over any permanent or non-permanent hair colour, including other brands of hair colourant.

Q. How do I know I have applied enough of the foam?

The front of the bottle details how much to use for short or long hair. Follow the instructions for your hair length. If your hair is between short and long, use an amount in between. For long hair we recommended that you use the entire bottle. To ensure the best colour results whatever your hair length, apply the foam colour until hair is completely wet all over.

New Nice 'n Easy Colour Blend Foam Application

Q. Can I do a root application with this product?

Yes, you can. For a root application, apply the foam to your roots first then pull the colour through the rest of your hair. The total development time is still 25 minutes. If you have resistant greys you may leave the product on for an additional ten minutes.

Q. Should I perform a patch test before using Nice 'n Easy Colour Blend Foam?

Yes. As with any home hair colourant you should always perform a skin allergy patch test before use. See the instruction leaflet included in your home hair colourant pack for details on how to carry out a skin allergy test.
