L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique CC Cream Anti- Redness
Very smooth complexion but a touch on the orange side!
I am very fair but tend to have quite a red blotchy face; particularly after washing it! I got this for Christmas thinking that it would be a godsend which it has to an extent. It smells nice, provides great coverage and does what it says. The only problem for me is that it is far too orange for my natural skin tone. After putting it on, my face is a different colour to the rest of my body which looks a bit silly. I end up having to use a ton of pale face powder to try and 'pale it down' a little. Please make in various shades and I will definitely keep buying!

Careful if you have pale skin
This does exactly what it says, which is to reduce redness and blemishes, but without some sunshine on your face or if you have pale skin, it will end up turning you somewhat orange, so beware. I shall keep it and use it for the summer months when I have some colour as it really does work, but I've ended up buying another brand for paler days that is also very good. I would recommend this if you have darker/olive skin or a suntan, but otherwise I'd offer caution as you may end up looking tangoed as the colour develops.

A good inexpensive CC cream
I have never found the perfect shade for a BB cream due to some cosmetic companies selling limited shades and I think it is very important to cater to all skin tones. Asian BB creams lean more to fair to light medium complexions and even the darkest shades did not match my skin tone. I was sceptical at first when I found out L'Oreal released this new Nude magique CC Cream as they came out with 3 different skin concerns with only one universal shade to suit all skin tones. Out of the 3, I went for the anti-redness option as I have blemish-prone skin and annoyingly get spots more or less every month! (for ref, I have combination skin - oily tzone and dry cheeks & chin). I was quite hesitant to use this on my face because it also claimed to give a dewy finish, however when I first applied this on my face it gave a semi-matte finish which I do prefer since I get oily in the tzone. This is best applied with your hands but if you're not careful it will look streaky, so a little goes a long way. If you are looking for a more natural finish then this is a good product for you. Don't expect a medium to full coverage as it is only a CC cream that is supposed to counteract any discolorations/uneven skin tone/imperfections. This is a sheer to light coverage. It almost looks like second skin as the redness from my spots are reduced, however it won't conceal the spots and will need a good coverage concealer. My only con is that this is not a long-wearing CC cream as it is a sheer-light coverage, even when I use powder it will gradually fade. I'd say it will last for a max 5 hours (on my skin). In terms of the "foundation" colour, it does adjust to my natural skin tone. It does looks slightly light at first but it will oxidize and blend with my skin tone. After 2 hours, it will start to look more dewy and oily on my skin but I am already used to using blotting papers & powder to fix this. Overall, a decent CC cream but I wouldn't recommend this if you have oily skin or want a long-wearing full coverage foundation. This CC cream is great for lazy days when u want a little bit of coverage and going out for a short period (e.g. grocery shopping). I don't think this would suit all skin tones as the pigment is more of a warmer shade so this is perfect for olive/yellow toned skin. If you are a bargain shopper like me and a beginner on CC creams then this product is for you. Hope this helps!
