L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss Honey Chocolate Semi Permanent Hair Colour
The product made my hair look shiner than ever before. Loved the smell of the dye and the conditioner, Blends grey hairs while giving it a soft finish. It also washes out easily however I am not to keen on the gloves given.

Gloss with Casting Crème Gloss
I found the product to be surprisingly gentle on my hair, especially after using the conditioner. The colour was also surprisingly pleasantly fragranced, although the conditioner did stink. It was easy to use. Came with simple basic, easy to read instructions. It left my hair soft and shiny, and strangely feeling in better condition than before the colour. The colour coverage was great, it blended all of my greys away. But I did pick a shade too dark which also blended away some of my natural highlights and tones. It has kept its colour for much longer than I expected from a semi permanent: 6 weeks on and I am only now beginning to see my greys more noticeably.
â¢easy to use
â¢gentle on hair
â¢glossy, shiny hair after use
â¢excellent coverage on greys
â¢colour lasts longer than other brands
â¢good range of colours
â¢unpleasant smelly conditioner
â¢quite expensive (BUT quality of product is far better than cheaper products, so you do really get what you pay for so maybe not too much of a negative)
Would I recommend this product?
Yes (and I have done)
Would I buy this product?
Yes (but a lighter shade)

Silky soft honey chocolate hair.
I've used a few of these casting creme shades before, but as my hair bleached from the sun over summer I wanted to return to my natural golden darker brown. I bought honey chocolate, I was tempted by honey chestnut but it looked slightly on the redder side whereas honey chocolate was more golden looking (but the tiny square of colour on the box isn't much to go on).
Before buying any of these I think its beneficial to know your skin tone, I'm a yellow warmer tone so ashy (iced) tones look a bit flat against my complexion I've made the mistake before with the iced chocolate but if you are a pinker or neutral tone it would be much more likely to suit. The application is simple just slightly damp hair and I used a dye brush for the roots to make sure its even but thats just my preference, I had dye left over despite the fact my hair is bellow shoulder length and is fairly thick so in my opinion there is a good amount of product in the bottle.
The only downside is the smell of the conditioner but it works wonders sealing in the colour and shine the overall colour is just like the one the box if not slightly darker but that happens with most of the casting cremes I have used in the past and i'll certainly be using this again whenever I decided to top it up.
