  • How can I spend my Advantage card points online?

    When shopping online, all redeemable items will show the price in points as well as the price in pounds. The products you select in your shopping basket must be paid for using a single tender type, either points or cash. You can add items to the "Purchase Later"area if you have unredeemable products, not enough points, or want to pay by another method. Items will stay in the "Purchase later" area until they are purchased or deleted.

    Paying on Boots.com using Boots Advantage Card points is subject to the standard Terms and Conditions of the Boots Advantage Card scheme. Points cannot be redeemed against prescriptions items, infant milks (up to 6 months), giftcards/vouchers, postage stamps, mobile phone top-up cards, Boots Opticians, Boots Hearing Care, Travel Services, and Boots Insurance. Furthermore, gift boxing is not an option when using this payment method as points can only be used to pay for items and products. Gift boxing is an additional service and therefore not redeemable with points.

  • How can I pay online?

    Online you can pay by any of the following options:

    • Visa/Visa Debit
    • Visa Electron
    • Mastercard,
    • Maestro/ Maestro International ,
    • American Express
    • Delta
    • PayPal
    • MasterPass,
    • eGift vouchers
    • Boots Advantage Card points

    These are the only payment methods that we accept for online orders, any orders to be paid for with cash need to be placed at a till in store.

    We can only accept a Boots Advantage Card points order if you pay for the whole order with your points. We can accept payment for your delivery charge with a credit/debit card.

    Unfortunately you cannot use Boots gift cards or vouchers online. If you have a gift card or vouchers you want to spend on items only available online you can do this by placing an order at the till in store.

  • What is the policy on price matching?

    We do not currently price match against other retailers because we're working hard to give you great value for money through the very best combination of quality and price. A very important way that we do this is by offering the UK's most generous loyalty card, with our Boots Advantage Card giving back the equivalent of 4p for every £1 spent on almost every item, often rising to 8p per £1 during some promotional periods. We believe this adds up to some fantastic value.

  • Can I use gift cards online?

    Unfortunately we cannot allow the use of Boots gift cards or vouchers on Boots.com at present.

    If you wish to order an item that is only available on Boots.com and pay using a gift card you will be able to do this as an in store order. You can place an in store order at any Boots store, all you need to do is take the product code or prodcut description to a member of staff at the till and they can search for the product and place the order for you

    To check the balance on your gift card you need to take the card into your local boots store. They will scan the card and give you the current balance.

  • What do I do if my payment option isn't accepted?

    If your payment method is not accepted then you can either contact your payment provider for details or use a different payment option. Our Customer Care team will not be able to advise you on why a particular payment is not being accepted.

    If you cannot connect to the 3D secure page once your payment details have been entered you will need to contact your payment provider.

  • What are eGift vouchers?

    eGift vouchers are our online version of a Boots Gift Card. We offer this service because we currently don't accept Boots Gift Cards as a method of payment online. We don't accept eGift vouchers in store. You can send an eGift voucher to anyone with a valid email address, it doesn't matter if the recipient doesn't have a Boots.com account, however, they will need to create a Boots.com one to spend the eGift voucher..

    To place an order for an eGift voucher follow the steps below:

    • Log in to your account on Boots.com
    • Search for "gift voucher"
    • Click "E-voucher"from the list on the left hand side
    • Select the value of the e-voucher you would like to send and follow the steps to checkout

  • Do you offer student discount online?

    We don't offer any kind of discount to specific customer groups such as students.

  • Can I use Love2Shop or One4all cards or vouchers online?

    Unfortunately we cannot accept Love 2 Shop vouchers or cards on Boots.com, you can place an order for items available on Boots.com at a till in store and have the parcel delivered to a store or address of your choice.

    Love 2 Shop vouchers can be used in Boots stores and Boots Opticians.

    One4all cards can be used online but will need to be transferred into an online usable card. Please click here to see how to transfer your card over.

    Unfortunately you cannot use Love 2 Shop, One4all cards or vouchers to purchase gift cards or vouchers.

  • How do I use a eGift voucher?

    If you have received an email advising you that you have received an eGift voucher you will need to click on the 'My eGift voucher' link in the email and log into your account or register with Boots.com.

    To spend the eGift voucher all you need to do is add your chosen item(s) into your basket, view to your basket and proceed through the checkout selecting your delivery address and delivery option.

    On the payment page you can select to use your eGift voucher as payment. If you order value is less than the eGift voucher total then all you need to do is tick the box next to the eGift voucher option, this will deduct the value of the order from you eGift voucher total. If your order is over the eGift voucher total you can pay for the remainder of the order using a credit/debit card, PayPal or MasterPass.

    Please note we cannot allow an order to be paid for using an eGift voucher and Boots Advantage card points.
