  • How do I register on Boots.com?

    To register please follow the steps below:

    • Click on "Sign in/Register" at the top of the page
    • Enter your email address
    • Click on "Register for Boots.com"
    • Enter all required fields that are marked with an asterisk
    • If you have a Boots Advantage Card, you can enter the card number at this stage and to start collecting points from your very first order
    • Click "Submit"

    Once your account has been confirmed you will receive an email with your email address and name. If any of the details are incorrect you can log back into your account using your email address and password and update them.

  • I'm having issues registering, what do I do?

    If you are having issues registering an account on Boots.com you will see a red error message at the top of the registration page. Check the message and amend any data the message is referring to then submit your application again.

    If the error message is stating that your email address is already registered this means that you may have previously registered and just need to update your password. If this is the case, click on the "Forgotten password" link in the "Sign in" field.

  • Why do I have to register on Boots.com?

    To place an order on Boots.com you have to register. You can either do this before you shop or when you reach the checkout page either way, we only need a few basic details to register an account.

    There are huge benefits to registering with boots.com, including:

    • You can track your orders online
    • You will receive emails to keep you up to date regarding your orders and returns
    • You can save time buying products by using our re-order option and by creating an account to help you check out faster
    • You can add a rating and review on products purchased
    • You can check or amend your Boots Advantage Card details at any time by adding your Boots Advantage Card details to your account
    • If you have lost or had your Boots Advantage Card damaged or stolen you can replace it quickly and easily online
    • You can pay with your Boots Advantage Card points online

  • I'm having trouble logging in, what do I do?

    • Check the spelling of your email address as well as your password - passwords are also case sensitive.
    • Forgotten your password? Click on the 'Login / Register' link at the top of the page and then the 'Forgotten password'. If you are using a mobile device, click on 'My Account' at the bottom of the page first.
    • Type in your email address, surname and date of birth then click 'Submit'. We'll send you an email with a link to reset your password. If you have any problems at this stage please contact our Customer Care team, see the 'Contact us' section of the site for more details.
    • Once you have received your new password email, click the 'Change password' link (If you are using a mobile device, unfortunately you will not be able to use this feature. Instead you will need to switch to our full website by clicking on the 'Visit full site' link at the bottom of the page). Enter your new password into the appropriate field and enter it again to confirm.
    • Click 'Submit' to change your password. You'll then be logged into your account and we'll send you a second email to confirm your details have been updated.
    • More than 6 unsuccessful attempts will deactivate your account. If this happens please contact our Customer Care team, see the 'Contact us' section of the site for more details.

  • What do I do if I've forgotten my Boots.com password?

    • Click on the "Login/Register" link at the top of the page and then "Forgotten password". If you are using a mobile device, click on "My Account" at the bottom of the page first

  • How do I find out my registered email address?

    If you are not sure which email address you have used to register with, enter the email address into the "Register" section of"Sign in/register" and click the "Register"button. If the email address has already been registered you will receive an error message advising you of this. To reset your password simply click on the "Forgotten password" link in the "Sign in" field and follow the process.

    If you are having issuesregistering an account on Boots.com you will see a red error message at the top of the registration page. Check the message and amend any details the message is reffering to to then submit your application again.

  • What do I need to do if the link on my forgotten password email doesn't work?

    If the link in the email we have sent you doesn't open to allow you to change your password you will need to:

    • Make sure your cookies allow you to receive links and pop ups. You can often see this at the top of your browser where you can enable links and display pictures etc. Once you have enabled this, try to click the link again
    • Hover your cursor over the " Change password link" and a new link that you can enter into your address bar will appear
    • Copy this link and paste it into your address bar at the top of an internet page - this will take you to the change password page

  • How can I change my Boots.com password?

    To change your password follow the steps below:

    • Click " My Account' " at the top of the page
    • Enter your email address and password and click " Sign in to Boots.com "
    • Click " Boots.com account "
    • Click the " Tick here if you would like to change your password " box.
    • The password fields will be blank, enter your new password into the appropriate field
    • Enter it again to confirm
    • Click " Submit "
    • A message will appear at the top of the screen to confirm your password has changed
    • You will receive an email to advise the account has been updated

    You are unable to change your password on the mobile site. You will need to visit the full site.

  • How do I update my details on Boots.com?

    All you need to do is

    • Log into Boots.com
    • Click on the My account link and then the Boots.com account link, this will bring up your registration details
    • Add your Boots Advantage Card details in the box at the bottom of the page
    • Add the cardholder's date of birth and the postcode that the card was sent to

    • When you submit you should see a confirmation message at the top of the page but if any details are incorrect you will see an error message advising you of the issue.
      Please be aware that you cannot add a temporary or ROI card to a UK Boots.com account.

  • How do I get staff discount online?

    To add a staff discount card to your account follow these steps:

    • Enter www.boots.com/staffcard as your URL
    • Sign into your Boots.com account
    • You will see three boxes where you need to enter your staff discount card number. Enter the card number starting with 633 into the three boxes using this number sequence (10 digits, six digits, one digit)
    • Enter the expiry date that is printed on your card
    • You will receive an email confirming that your account has been updated.
    • Your discount will now be shown on the basket page of checkout.

      If the staff card you have on your Boots.com account has expired you will need to remove this and enter your new card number. To remove the expired card number
    • Log into your Boots.com account
    • Click into Boots.com account
    • Click onto Remove staff card
    • Then follow the steps above to add your new staff card.

      You can only add the staff discount card number to 1 account regardless of whether it is the 1st card user or the 2nd card user.

  • How can I stop receiving emails?

    To stop receiving weekly Boots.com newsletter and other events emails:

    • Login to your Boots.com account
    • Click onto "My account"
    • Un-tick the email subscription in my account
    • Click "Submit"
    • Alternatively you can click on the "Unsubscribe" link on the bottom of any emails we send to you

    To stop receiving WebMD and Treat Street emails

    • Login to your Boots.com account and go to "My account"
    • Click on your email newsletter preferences
    • Un-tick any fields to stop WebMD and Treat Street emails
    • Alternatively you can click on the "Unsubscribe"link on the bottom of any emails we send to you

    Please be aware that you cannot stop receiving order-related and account update emails.

  • How do I edit my address book online?

    You can only edit home addresses and only certain fields. If you wish to do this please follow the steps below:

    • Log into your boots.com account
    • Click on "Address book"in the list on the left hand side
    • Select the address you would like to change by clicking on the "Edit address"button
    • Change any details in the address
    • Click "Save address"
    • A green banner will appear above the address to confirm the changes have been made successfully

  • I'm having trouble registering my Advantage Card to my Boots.com account, what do I do?

    All you need to do is:

    • Log into your Boots.com account.
    • Click onto the Boots.com account link; this will bring up your registration details.
    • Add your Boots Advantage Card details in the box at the bottom of the page

  • How do I register my Advantage Card online?

      1. Click 'Boots Advantage Card' at the top of the screen.

      2. Scroll down to 'My Boots Advantage Card account'

      3. Enter your e-mail address in the 'register' box.

      4. Enter your details including your Boots Advantage Card number.

      If you've already registered your Boots Advantage Card details online, you can then update your personal details by following the steps below.

      1. Click 'My Boots Advantage Card account' to login

      2. Enter your e-mail address and password

      3.Click 'my personal details'

      4. Update the field required and press submit.

      Unfortunately you can't add a temporary Boots Advantage card to your Boots.com account but you can still collect Boots Advantage Card points, simply enter the card number including the letter 'T' into the Boots Advantage Card number section in your shopping basket before you make your payment. Once you have received your permanent Boots Advantage Card you can add the card number to your account using the steps above.

  • What do I do if I get an error message online?

    If you receive an error message it will advise you what to do next, i.e. go back and try again. If you cannot move past this point then please contact our Customer Care team with details of exactly where you were and what you were trying to do. You can contact them either by telephone or email.   • What is a wishlist?

    If there are items that you would like from Boots.com, to either treat yourself or maybe as a gift, you can store them to your wish list. To add them to your wishlist you need to log in to your account, then search for the item you would like and click on the add to wishlist link in the product details. Once you've added all the items you'd like you can email your friends and family some, or all of the list. Alternatively, you can add some, or all of the items to your basket.

    To view your wish list you need to

    • Log into your account
    • Click onto Wish List using one of the links in your account
    • This will take you to your wish list where you can view, delete and send your wish list to anyone you would like to.

  • What are favourites?

    If there are items you buy regularly you can add them to your favourites. You can then quickly add some, or all, of these items to your basket by signing into Boots.com and clicking on "My account" and then "Favourites"

    To add a favourite item all you need to do is search for the product, click to view the item and then click on the "add to favourites" button. A message will appear to show it has been added to your favourites.

    To make changes to your favourites list you need to log into your Boots.com account and click on Favourites in the left hand navigation. From here you can amend the quantity, "Add to basket", remove a single item or remove all of your favourites.

    You can change the email address on your account by following the steps below;
    • Log into your Boots.com account using your current email address and password
    • Click into Boots.com Account
    • Select Tick here if you would like to change your email address
    • Enter your new email address into the box provided and then confirm your email address
    • Click submit
