How to wrap an awkward-shaped gift

The easiest way to wrap a tricky-shaped gift, like something round or cylindrical, is to make a simple bag big enough to accommodate it - it really is easy! Here, we've used Boots Personalised Photo paper - just take your photos into selected stores to get it printed up.

1. Measure and fold the paper

Check you have enough paper to cover your gift top and bottom. Fold the paper into the middle, taping it all the way up the bag.

2. Fold up and then outwards to make a diamond-shaped base

To make the base, fold over enough paper to accommodate the width of your gift. Open out and fold in the sides to make a diamond.

3. Fold in the corners and tape securely

Fold in the top and bottom corners of the diamond and fix with tape. Fluff out your bag and place the gift inside.

4. Close the top and add the finishing touches

Finally, fold over the top and fix with tape. Decorate the bag with a gift tag and sparkly bow to finish.
