Soft and natural I've spent the last 6 months going to the hairdressers for highlights to get from a dyed dark brown colour to a medium blonde but could no longer afford it. After worrying for half an hour in the shop i finally chose this colour as simply "blonde" sounded like it couldn't go wrong as there was no suggestion of "ash" which could make it grey-ish or "golden" to make it strawberry coloured. I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. I left it for 20 minutes on my roots then 10 on the length and it's all blended in amazingly whilst keeping my highlights visible. The colour is so natural (although a little darker than the box shows though not hugely) so I'm going to use the john frieda sheer blonde go blonder shampoo as that works amazingly at making the blondeness a little brighter. My hair feels in really good condition because of the no ammonia, much healthier than it's felt after having bleached highlights. 27 December 2012
Rubbish Thinking of buying this product? Don't. I have dark blonde/light brown hair and wanted to go a bit lighter. The colour chart on the box shows a shade up to medium brown will come out as a lovely blonde, so I thought I would give it a go. After the recommended 30 mins nothing had changed, so I left it on for an hour in total and my hair had lightened only a fraction - certainly not noticeable. After using the conditioner, instead of that soft silky feeling you get after dying your hair, my hair felt heavy and greasy, and flat when dried. Wouldn't recommend to anyone 11 September 2013
Lovely, natural colour and easy to use. I have naturally dark blonde / mousey brown hair with greys starting to show through, and after years of getting blonde highlights done at the hairdresser (costing a small fortune!) I wanted to try and colour my hair at home, basically to dye it its natural colour and to cover the grey roots. I tried another brand in Dark Blonde and had a disaster with it going medium sludge brown with a green tinge (nightmare!) so was very wary at trying another home dye kit. After a very long time deciding what to go for I went for the Olia 8.0 Blonde as the colour on the box looked about right. I applied it to the roots for 20 mins then the rest of my hair for 10 mins, rinsed and conditioned my hair and dried it (always the scary part, seeing what colour it's gone!). Well, the result was perfect - I was so happy! A beautiful, natural blonde which was shiny and healthy-looking, and all the greys covered! I've learnt that "if in doubt, go a shade lighter" and Olia 8.0 will be my go-to hair colour from now on, it's really lovely and totally natural-looking. 22 July 2014
