Don't believe the adverts! I use Garnier haircolour all the time so thought I'd try this new one. Don't believe the hype! The only good thing is the lack of smell when applying. Other than that the new bottle style is not good, my hair is the same colour as with other Garnier products and has no extra shine and today (day after dying it) it is like straw. This product has left my hair very dry. I'm switching back the chemicals. 29 April 2014
Average product - bit disapointing I was expecting something really good from this product as the advertising makes it sound really different and interesting but am afraid I wasn't 'wowed'. The instructions are easy enough to follow but the cream product means that it is quite hard to distribute through your hair, mine is not even shoulder length and I found it quite hard to get good coverage. The gloves are a bit thick too but then they are always clumsy to use. I found that I did get good coverage however and good colour, I only have a little grey at the front and it was un-noticable after the colour which was pleasing. I usually find that these types of products have amazing conditioning products in them but this one wasn't so great, I was glad to get some of my normal conditioner on my hair the next day. All in all this product is not as good as some others out there so I wouldn't chose to use it again. 10 December 2012
Great Ammonia Free Colour Firstly I will discuss what my hair is like naturally. I have black hair (level 1 -3) which was colored with Garnier Nutrisse 7.0 (which took my hair to a level 5/4) about 8 weeks before using this. I used this because it is ammonia free, and I believed it will be less harsh for my hair. The packaging is HUGE. Seriously they have added the developer in a separate tube instead of being in the typical applicator bottle which is a waste of packaging. It is extremely hard to squeeze out all the colorant cream as the tube is made out of metal. When I (eventually) mixed the two together, the application started... The first thing I noticed was the smell or should I say the lack of smell. It smelled really nice like a light floral scent, this is probably because it has no ammonia. The application was a little hard because of the design of the Olia jar. It's shaped like a oil drop which makes it hard to grip. Rinsing was really easy and it rinsed just like a shampoo. The conditioner smells really nice and made my hair soft. When air dried the results were really amazing. It is even, despite the fact I have virgin roots and colored ends. It lifted my roots to about a level 4 which is really good considering it is an ammonia free dye. My hair is soft and doesn't feel damaged. 22 April 2013
