Efalex Capsules

This provides fatty acids for brain and eye function, with Efamol evening primrose oil and fish oil.

CAPTURING THE ESSENCE OF EFALEX: Did you know that fat is essential for life? There are two families of 'good fats', the omega-6 family and the omega-3 family. Whilst some 'good fats' can be made by the body, factors such as age, diet and excess saturated fats can reduce the body's efficiency in converting them from food

 

 Efalex contains:

  • The specific long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids DHA and AA, important building blocks of the brain, nervous system and eye.
  • EPA and GLA, fatty acids involved in the production of prostaglandins, hormone-like substances which are involved in the transmission of messages between nerves.

     

How to Use

Adults and children aged 5 years and over 2 teaspoons (10ml) per day with food or drink. Children 2-5 years: 1 teaspoon (5ml) per day with food and drink.

 

Taking this product for the first time: For liquid the amounts should be doubled for the first 12 weeks.

Hazards and Cautions

Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Food supplements are intended to supplement the diet and should not be regarded as a substitute for a varied diet

Ingredients: DHA-rich tuna fish oil, capsule shell (gelatine, glycerol), evening primrose oil (Oenothera biennis), natural source vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopherol), white thyme oil (Thymus zygis). Liquid version: Sunflower Oil, DHA rich fish oil, Pure Evening Primrose Oil, Lemon Oil, Vitamin E (as dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate), lime flavour, thyme oil



Nutritional: 2 capsules provide: Vitamin E 20mg/30iu (200% RDA), Fish Oil 588mg (providing DHA 120mg, AA 10.5mg), Evening Primrose Oil 280mg (providing GLA 24mg), Thyme Oil 2mg.
