I love E45 but... must be new to these prescriptive handwashes. Are they meant to be universal about the home? Not that I have a medical condition, but constant contact with flour is a bane of my daily existence resulting in dry, cracked palms were it not for E45. So, I have this by the kitchen sink. It may be good enough in the bain de toilette, but for proper grime, grease and dirt, how is it meant to work? True, it does not leave hands parched and stripped of natural oils, but I'm not convinced it works well enough in the dirty world of the kitchen. What is this about applying it as a pre-wash? I'm lost... I'm going to stick with my triple milled soap. A good foam is what I like to see. 15 January 2014
Very moisturising and soothing to dry skin I bought this over a month ago after noticing that my skin had become drier than usual. I've been washing my face with it every other night and have noticed great improvement. All the flakiness/patchiness is gone and my face feels amazingly refreshed. After washing it off with water it leaves a soft film of product on your skin, as if you've just applied moisturiser. It's the only thing that's worked on my persistently dry skin. 13 June 2011
Great wash cream - but really bad packaging I used to have a lot of eczema on my arms and eventually got rid of it with eumovate - different story. I already used this as shower wash back then, it was nice but obviously doesn't cure eczema, but it did not irritate the skin any further. now as my skin has cleared, I'm still fighting with dry skin. The wash's still great and moisturising, and I would definitely recommend it. Don't expect a miracle tho. However, the biggest disadvantage is the packaging. The dispenser is horrible. It stopped working after a few weeks and I always had to open the lid to get the cream out. Definitely not great. I would buy it again, but just if they change the dispenser/bottle. 30 June 2012
