1 person in 10 has chlamydia*. It's difficult to spot, but easy to treat

Is chlamydia really such a big deal?

Yes, definitely. Around 1 in 10 sexually active young people who take a chlamydia test find they've got it. And it's also on the increase in older age groups. Both men and women can catch it but because there often aren't any symptoms, they probably won't know if they've got it. The good news is, there's now a simple urine test you can use.

Boots now offer a Chlamydia Screening Service at selected pharmacies in England and Wales.

If you live in London we may be able to offer this Pharmacy Service free of charge, Boots are working with the Department of Health to offer offer tests free of charge to those aged 16 to 25. To find your local Boots store offering this service, please go to our Store Locator page
