This award winning patented baby seat from South Africa, is one of the most clever inventions.

A comfortable upright position for your baby from approximately four months. This South African design is made using a soft material and your baby's body weight and pressure narrows the gap above their legs slightly, thus ensuring a safe and secure position.

The Bumbo is a hit with parents for early weaning, simply pop the moulded supportive shape on the floor and sit your baby inside. Your baby will really enjoy the independence to look around.

The Bumbo Baby Seat is made from a soft, lightweight, non-toxic material. It can be used on any flat surface, and is durable and easy to clean.

  • Suitable for babies between 3 and 14 months (approx 4-10kg)
  • It is especially useful at feeding time, and when settling down for a favourite story or video. Just wipe clean with a cloth

Hazards and Cautions

Do not use on a raised or uneven surface, as a car seat, in a bath or in other water. Bumbo? is happiest on the floor. Do not use until your baby is fully able to support its head. Depending on the physical development and age of the child, some babies will be able to move out of the Bumbo?, so never leave your child unattended.

I recently bought the Bumbo for my goddaughter and her mummy thinks it is FANTASTIC! She's just at that age where she is rolling over all the time so the bumbo gives mum the oppurtunity to hoover etc without fear of baby toppling over when she turns her back!! Baby also seems to find the middle post on the seat useful as a teething aid :) lol Bendy baby!

This chair is great for babies that can support themselves as it offers them some independence - I also used this seat as a highchair and is was great for transporting around to relatives and friends. My little one however did learn to crawl out of it quite quickly but it was great before she could manouver herself out of it.

Great, Portable Seat

I bought this chair for my 3.5 month old son and have been extremely happy with its performance. We've had it for about 3 weeks now and found it to be an essential item around the house. Now that he is capable of supporting the weight of his head - we use this chair everywhere! He loves to sit in it and watch us while we do chores (wash dishes, iron, etc.) and has a great time kicking his legs all while building up his strength. I think this is a great product for the phase in between when a baby is content to lie on the floor / in his crib and play with a mobile, but before he is able to sit unsupported. I would highly recommend this product. It's very portable, durable and practical.

I've had the bumbo for both my children - and I can really recommend it. It's been worth every penny. It's great for when you're weaning and great to keep them safe when you just need another pair of hands. It's also good outside as its so lightweight and it's been on lots of camping holidays with us too. Bought the tray for my second child but found it awkward to attach and it felt flimsy.

Boots.com deliver to British Forces Post Office addresses. The charge for BFPO delivery is £6.00, this includes the cost of delivering your parcel to the BFPO sorting office and the charge applied for delivery to your address.

We can't ship aerosols to BFPO addresses. Aerosols will be intercepted and returned to us.
