Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation
I am always impressed with Bourjois foundations so I was looking forward to trying this one. It comes in very nice packaging; the bottle is actually glass which looks very posh, and it has a pump action for dispensing the foundation, which is a hygienic and convenient method. I chose shade 51, which is the palest. I found that it was perhaps not as quite as pale as I'd have liked, but it blended well, without making me look orange.
The texture of the foundation is thin and liquidy, and only 1-2 pumps' worth of foundation are required to cover the face. It has a surprisingly acidy-fruity smell, which is not unpleasant and doesn't linger. It didn't irritate or dry out my skin. I found putting it on top of primer improved its appearance. Sadly, I don't think it lives up to its claims of hiding dark shadows, and I felt that the coverage it gave was not as full as I'd have liked. It does blend well and sits well under powder, which helps it to last longer. Overall, it feels like a quality product, just with not quite enough coverage for my preference.
I do think this is a good foundation but I prefer the Bourjois Healthy Mix and 10 Hour Sleep foundations, and I think I will stick to those in future. So I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, as I'd recommend the other Bourjois foundations instead.

This is by far my favourite foundation out of the hundreds I tried! I am in shade 51, pale I know, and this matches perfectly :) Becore trying this, I used the bourjois healthy mix serum and LOVED that, but now it's NOTHING compared to this one! I bought this one when it first came out and it was in offer, a little skepticle but I tried it. It applies so smoothly and the coverage for me is amazing! I still use concealer because this isn't full coverage but for my skin, it's just right. It's definitely medium - full, more on the medium side. It feels super light too. I'd say the finish is semi matt, which I find lovely. I'm on my second bottle now and still love this foundation. I have about 8 other foundations, I only used this, haven't used another since before I got this one'

waste of money
I have been using a Clarins foundation for the past six months, and have been quite happy with it, apart from the colour doesn't quite match me and it's a little heavy for summer. I had read some positive reviews about Bourjois foundations generally. This foundation is on offer at the moment, so I decided to give it a go. I have tried their foundations in the past, and have found the coverage too sheer, and the consistency too runny.
And this was no different. I got the color 54 beige, which matches my skin pretty well. I have combination skin with some spots and hyper pigmentation. This did nothing whatsoever to cover that. I don't expect foundation to completely cover acne, but this did NOTHING. It claims to cover dark circles, which it doesn't. My circles are very slight and it didn't conceal them in the slightest. It didn't make me look radiant, either. The feeling on my skin was greasy. I felt it irritating my acne. I washed it off as soon as I could.
I'm sad that this didn't work for me, as lots of people seem to like it. If you have perfect skin anyway, then this would be ok, but then again, what's the point in wearing foundation if you have perfect skin?
