Product description

Boots Smooth Care Ingrown Hair Minimiser gently yet effectively minimises ingrown hairs by gently exfoliating your skin and with regular use helps prevent new ones from reappearing. Ingrown hairs are removed more easily and shaving bumps and irritation from hair removal products are visibly minimised.

Contains Chamomile & Honey to help soothe and nourish the skin. Suitable for use on legs, underarms and bikini line.

How to Use

Before using this product please perform a patch test by applying a small amount of product with cotton wool to a small inconspicuous area on the arm, leave on for 1 hour and then wash off with cool water and pat the area dry. If no irritation occurs within 24 hours the product can be used as indicated.

To help treat existing ingrown hairs apply using cotton wool to the affected area. Use twice daily until problem clears (should be no longer than 5 days).

To help prevent ingrown hairs apply twice daily to skin for 5 days before using a hair removal product to help lift ingrown hairs and improve results. Always leave 24 hours between using the ingrown hair minimiser and the removing hair.

Very happy with this product OK, so it's a bit expensive, but I have been using this for only 2 days, and am already seeing results. My legs are a lot clearer, as loads of the ugly bumps that were the result of ingrown hairs have simply vanished. My legs are so much smoother, and I'm much happier with them. I cant wait to see what my legs look like after 5 days of treatment :) I really would recommend this stuff, it takes a lot less time than other ways of getting rid of ingrown hairs. 16 March 2011
Excellent I've been using this for three weeks and I think it's amazing - I used to suffer badly with ingrowing hairs but have since had only two or three. Well worth the price - a little goes a long way. 28 December 2011
Sorry Boots, but it didn't work for me! I'd been looking for an ingrown hair solution in replace of the regular one I'd been using which is Skin Doctor's Ingrow Go so I decided to give this Boots branded one a try. I guess the most important thing here is that this Boots one is for 'minimising' ingrowing hair with regular use but I wanted something that works quick and prevents ingrown hairs. The consistency of the solution was quite runny so I found it tedious to apply as I like using cotton pads rather than cotton balls and it would just dribble everywhere! I also felt it wasn't strong enough because I applied it day and night diligently but it didn't seem to have any effects on preventing ingrown hairs whereas the Skin Doctors one actually works (although it does sting). Overall I think it might work for those who have light, thin hairs but for me, it didn't make any difference so back to Skin Doctors I go! 30 January 2012
