News from

Boots

Sadly breast cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK.  Nearly 46,000 people, including 300 men, are diagnosed every year.  Every day, 125 people will be given the shocking news that they have breast cancer.  This is why Boots raises funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Care, and has been doing so for the last 11 years.

During Boots’ 11 year partnership with Breast Cancer Care, we have raised over £3.5million to help provide care and support to people affected by breast cancer.  This year the aim is to increase this total to over £4million

Breast Cancer Care wants every person affected by breast cancer to get the best treatment, support and information whenever they need it.  They help people by providing information along with emotional and practical support, bringing people with breast cancer together, campaigning for improvements in treatment and care and promoting breast awareness.
