These do the job well If you're looking for something that blocks out more than the foam ones, and are cleaner and last longer than wax, then these should be your earplug of choice! Great for blocking out a lot of noise! Good on flights for taking away that hideous air rush. Haven't used them in water, be interested to hear from anyone who does! 26 October 2009
Not worth the money Tried them as an alternative to standard foam ear plugs I've been using for years to block out my husband's snoring, however found them to be less effective. They start out at the beginning of the night really well but by 3am have worked free & are not blocking noise at all. Another downside is that my hair sticks to them as they're made of a sticky gel. 18 January 2010
best ear plugs I tested out about 10 different earplugs before finding these. he benefits are that as they go over the ear canal, not in it, they are alot more comfortable than foam ear plugs. I find they block out sound better, but I specifically wanted to block the low frequency bass sound from my noisy neighbour, which they completely block. One tip is to put a small piece, v.small, of cotton wool in the ear as well, as they are water tight your inner ear can sweat and get itchy, a bt of cotton wool stops that and I am able to wear these 24 hrs a day. I can hear important stuff like someone at door, or even have a conversation with them in, but the low frequency sound from surround sound speakers etc, that can be so intrusive, is totally blocked. 21 February 2010
