For customers who need to take more than 4 doses of medication daily, or who want to retain their independence while living in an extra care facility, we've developed the Boots Assisted Living System.

Benefits of the system include:

  • A personalised and tailored system for more frequent dosing
  • Medication comes supplied in 28-day pill packs, which are colour coded for the time of day
  • The time of day is clearly indicated on dividers that are used to separate the pill packs to make it simple to take the right dose at the right time
  • Customer file cards are included in the system and contain space for any care notes or allergies
  • The pill packs, dividers and customer file card are all placed together in one file making it easy to locate in the customer’s home
  • Reminder cards are included for medicines such as eyedrops and creams which cannot be blistered

The Assisted Living System is supported by a simple reordering and delivery process to ensure the customer/carer receives all their monthly medication in good time. There's also a dedicated contact on hand in the Boots Pharmacy Team who is fully committed to providing the best possible service whenever help is needed with medication.
