  • Amending Card Details


    How do I change my personal details?


    You can do it online by clicking here, instore at the Advantage Card Extra Offers Kiosk, or over the phone by calling 0845 124 4545.


    How can I register/cancel/change my organ donor status via Advantage Card?


    Boots Organ Donor registration is run in partnership with NHS Blood and Transplant.

    If you do not have the Organ Donor symbol on your Advantage Card and would like to join the NHS Organ Donor Register, please contact the Advantage Card team on 0845 124 45454*.

    If you chose to register as an organ donor when you applied for your Advantage Card, but have since changed your mind, please contact the Advantage Card team on 0845 124 45454*.

    If you change your status with Boots, please also inform the NHS Organ Donor Register on 0300 123 23 23 or at www.organdonation.nhs.uk

    What happens if my Advantage Card is lost, stolen or damaged?


    If your Advantage Card is lost, stolen or damaged we can send you a replacement Advantage Card and transfer your old points balance onto it.

    There are two ways you can order a replacement Advantage Card.

    1. Online
    If you've registered your Advantage Card to your Boots.com account then please log in to your account and order a new Advantage Card.

    2. Over the phone
    If you'd prefer to talk to someone or your Advantage Card is not registered online you can call the Advantage Card team on 0845 124 4545*.


    I have a replacement Advantage Card, how do I register my new Advantage Card number to my account?


    If you have a replacement Advantage Card, your account should automatically be updated. If this process has not taken place you need to remove your old card number from your account so you can add the new one instead. Please follow these steps:

    1. Click My Account at the top of the page and log-in to your account.

    2. Once you've logged in click on the Advantage Card symbol on the right hand side.

    3. Scroll down the page and tick the box marked 'Remove Advantage Card from my account'.

    4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click 'Submit'.

    5. You can then add your Advantage Card to your new account.


    I already have a temporary Advantage Card from store, but want a permanent Advantage Card


    Unfortunately you cannot change a temporary Advantage Card to a permanent Advantage Card online, but if you fill in the application form that came with the temporary Advantage Card, or phone customer care on 0845 124 4545*4, they will be able to order a permanent Advantage Card for you.


    I have not received my permanent Advantage Card


    If it is more than three weeks since you applied, please call the Advantage Card team on 0845 124 45454*.


    I have received my permanent card, what happens with my points on my temporary card?


    If you have filled in an application form or contacted Customer Care to apply for a permanent Advantage Card all of your points will be credited to your permanent account. If you do not think this has happened please call Customer Care on 0845 124 4545

    No you must destroy your temporary card as soon as you have received your permanent card in the post.

    You cannot use both cards for the same account.


    What if I live in ROI and have an ROI Card?


    ROI Advantage Cards cannot be used in the Boots stores in the UK.

    If you want to change your details over the phone or have any problems with your ROI Advantage Card please contact 1 890 200085.


    Can I use my UK Advantage Card in ROI?


    We are temporarily unable to process Republic of Ireland Advantage Card applications on line. You can complete your application by collecting a form in store or calling Customer Care on 1 890 200085

  • Registering on Boots.com and collecting my points


    How do I retrieve the points I've collected when shopping online?

    Your points will be automatically uploaded on to your Advantage Card account five days after you make your purchase at Boots.com.

    Points awarded from other Boots partners e.g. Treat Street may take longer. Please refer to the relevant websites for full details.

    You can see your points balance at the bottom of your till receipt in store, by visiting the Extra Offers Kiosk, or logging on to your Advantage Card account online.


    Why can't I register my permanent Advantage Card to my Boots.com account?

    If you receive an error message when you try to register your Advantage Card to your Boots.com account, there may be a number of reasons for this.

    1. You may not be entering your full Advantage Card number – make sure you enter all the numbers on the front of your Advantage Card.

    2. Your Advantage Card may be registered to another account, if so please follow the instructions under What happens if I've already registered my Advantage Card to a Boots.com account and want to change it to another account?


    What happens if I've already registered my Advantage Card to a Boots.com account and want to change it to another account?

    If you've already registered your Advantage Card to a Boots.com account, you won't be able to add it to another account until you remove it from the original account. To remove it from your card so it can be added to another account, follow these steps:

    1. Click My Account at the top of the Boots.com homepage and log-in to your original account.

    2. Once you've logged in, click on the Advantage Card symbol on the right hand side.

    3. Scroll down the page and tick the box marked 'Remove Advantage Card from my account.'

    4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click 'Submit'.

    5. You can then add your Advantage Card into your new account.


    Why can't I register the temporary Advantage Card I received in store to my Boots.com account?

    Unfortunately, you can't currently register your temporary Advantage Card number on your Boots.com account. However, you can still collect points online by entering your instant Advantage Card number on the Basket page when you are making a purchase. Your temporary Advantage Card number is the 9-digit number on the back of your temporary Advantage Card, please don't forget to include the 'T'.


    How do I register for Boots Treat Street?

    If you have already registered with Boots.com, then you can use the same username and password to shop through Treat Street. If you haven't registered yet, simply visit Boots Treat Street, click the register button at the top of the page and follow the short, simple steps.

  • Collecting Advantage Card points


    How do I collect points with my temporary Advantage Card?

    When I've signed up in store? There is a temporary paper Advantage Card on the front of your application form. When you're in store, simply hand this over when you pay at the till and your points will be added automatically to your temporary Advantage Card account.

    To collect points online, you will need to enter your temporary Advantage Card number at the checkout when you are making a purchase. The number is located on the back of your temporary Advantage Card and please don't forget to include the 'T' at the beginning of your number.

    You will need to wait for your permanent Advantage Card to register this on Boots.com.

    When I've signed up online? If you printed out a barcode, just hand this over to be scanned when you're instore. If you are in store and you did not print out a barcode, just ask for your receipts to be validated. The receipt has a barcode on it which stores the value of points you collected. Then, bring your validated receipts into store when your permanent Advantage Card arrives and we'll add your points (receipts are valid for 45 days).


    How do I collect points on-line with my permanent Advantage Card?

    Once you've signed up to the Advantage Card scheme you can start collecting points on almost everything you buy.

    There are two ways to collect points online:

    You can register your permanent Advantage Card to your account. You can do this at any time by clicking on the 'My Account' link at the top of any Boots.com web page, click "About Me" and then fill in your Advantage Card details.

    Alternatively if you do not want to register your card you can simply add in your Advantage Card number at the check out to collect points on this occasion.

    If you are using an Advantage Card that belongs to someone else then just type the number in at the checkout so you can collect points on their behalf, don't register it to your account.


    How do I collect points in store with my permanent Advantage Card?

    In store? When you get to the till, hand your Advantage Card to the cashier together with what you are buying. Your points will be instantly added to your card.

    If you have forgotten your card ask for a validated receipt. (see what is validated receipt for more details)


    How many Advantage Card points can I collect?

    In store
    4 points for every £1 you spend on almost any product in store*

    Online
    4 points for every £1 you spend on almost any product online at www.boots.com*

    Treat Street
    1 point for every £1 you spend – some sites offer bonus points* **

    What are validated receipts?

    If you are shopping in store and you have forgotten your Advantage Card, ask the store colleague to validate your receipt when you make a purchase. If a receipt is validated you can bring it in to any Boots store with your Advantage Card and the points can be transferred from your receipt onto your card. This must be done within 45 days of making the purchase.


    Can I still collect my points if I have forgotten my Advantage Card?

    If you forget to bring your Advantage Card with you into store, ask the store colleague at the till point to validate your receipt. Then bring your Advantage Card with your validated receipt in to store within 45 days and we will be able to take the points collected on your receipt onto your card.


    How can I collect points for recycling my old gadgets?

    Just visit Boots Recycle to discover exactly how to collect points on your old mobile phones, digital cameras, MP3 players/Ipods, sat-navs and inkjet cartridges.

    How do I check my points balance?

    In store? There's an Advantage Card points statement at the bottom of your till receipt, which will tell you how many points you have collected with each purchase and what they're worth to spend on products in store. You can also find out your balance when you insert your permanent Advantage Card into an Extra Offers Kiosk.

    Online? To check your points online, you'll need to sign up to Boots.com and register your Advantage Card to your account. Once registered, you can check your points balance at any time by clicking on My Account, followed by the 'Advantage Card' section.

    How do I spend my points?

    Spending points in store

    How do I spend my points in store?

    You can spend your points any time on almost anything in store. You'll need enough points to cover the full cost of the product you choose. For example 199 points will pay for a product priced at £1.99. The total price in points will then be taken from your Advantage Card account.

    I would like to buy a product with my Advantage Card points but its not available in my local store?

    If you would like to purchase a product with points that is not available in your local store you can order this online or ask your local store to order the product for you and then pay with points. The product will then be delivered to your local store for you to collect.


    I have bought an item using my points, am I still entitled to an exchange/refund?

    Yes, if you are taking an item back into store, please ensure you bring the Advantage Card that was used in the original transaction or your receipt so the points can be credited to your Advantage Card account. Our usual refund policy applies for the item.

    You can spend your points any time on almost anything online at boots.com. You'll need enough points to cover the cost of the product you choose.     You can also return items purchased on Boots.com to store, please ensure you bring the Advantage Card that is registered to the boots.com account and the delivery note with you so the points can be credited back to the account. Our usual refund policy applies for the item.

    I only have enough points to cover a couple of the items in my basket, what do I need to do?

    If you have more than 1 item in your basket at the checkout and do not have enough points to cover the total cost of your basket:

    1. Move any items that you will need to pay for with £s to 'Purchase Later'
    2. You will then be able to pay for your other items with points
    3. Then purchase the items saved in Purchase Later, if you purchase these items within 24 hours of the first transaction, you will receive 'free delivery*'

    I have enough points to pay for a product but the pay with points button is not working?

    The likely cause of this is due to our systems being temporary offline. This is very rare. You may need to save your basket and check back later when the system should be working.

    I have saved items in 'Purchase Later' but they have disappeared?

    If you have moved any products to Purchase Later you will be able to see these items for up to 28 days. To save items for longer please use your Wish List or Favourites.

  • Clubs and schemes


    How do I sign up for Health Club or Parenting Club?

    Online: To sign up for one of our clubs online, you will need to register with Boots.com and sign up for or register your Advantage Card. At the end of your Advantage Card application, you'll get the chance to click through to sign up to Parenting Club or Health Club (for customers aged 60 or over). Make sure that your address details are correct. If you already have a Boots.com account and an Advantage Card, you will need to log-in to My Account and click the Health Club or Parenting Club links. Make sure you check the Advantage Card page details to ensure your address is correct.

    Application Form: Being an Advantage Card holder allows you to join one of our clubs (Health Club is for customers aged 60 and over and Parenting Club is for pregnant women and parents with children under two years of age).

    When applying for an Advantage Card, just fill out the relevant section of the application form to join the club(s) of your choice. If you already have an Advantage Card, you can still apply using the same form by entering your Advantage Card number in the space provided.

    Advantage Card Extra Offers Kiosk: You can also use one of our Extra Offers Kiosks to sign up to one of our clubs, just insert your permanent, Advantage Card and follow the instructions.

    Over the phone: Please call the Advantage Card team on 0845 124 45454* who will be happy to help you sign up to a club that you are eligible for.


    I haven't received anything from Parenting Club since I joined

    It can take four to six weeks for you to initially receive your welcome pack from Parenting Club. If it has been longer than 6 weeks, please contact our customer care helpline on 0845 124 45 45.


    I haven't received anything from Health Club since I joined

    It can take four to six weeks for you to initially receive your welcome pack from Health Club. If it has been longer than 6 weeks, please contact our customer care helpline on 0845 124 45 45.


    I signed up to Parenting Club but I'm not receiving my 10 points for every £1 when I shop for baby products in store.

    When you receive your welcome pack you will receive a voucher which must be taken into store and scanned in at the till. This will activate the 10 points deal onto your Advantage Card. If you have lost this voucher then speak to a colleague in store and they will be able to apply the points deal onto your card at the till.


    I signed up to Parenting Club but I'm not receiving my 10 points for every £1 when I shop for baby products online.

    Please make sure you have registered your details correctly online and your account recognises you as a member of the Parenting Club, otherwise, please call customer care on 0845 124 45 45 and they will be able to assist you.


    I signed up to Health Club but I'm not receiving my 10% discount of Boots brand products in store.

    When you receive your welcome pack you will receive a voucher which must be taken into store and scanned in at the till. This will activate the 10% deal onto your Advantage Card. If you have lost this voucher then speak to a colleague in store and they will be able to apply the 10% off deal onto your card.


    I signed up to Health Club but I'm not receiving my 10% discount of Boots brand products online.

    Please make sure you have registered your details correctly online and your account recognises you as a member of the Health Club, otherwise, please call customer care on 0845 124 45 45 and they will be able to assist you.


    I no longer want to be a member of a club

    If you want stop being a member of either Parenting Club or Health Club, you can either amend your details on Boots.com, using the Advantage Card Kiosk in store, or call customer care on 0845 124 4545.

  • Extra Offers Kiosk


    Do I have to register to be able to use an Extra Offers Kiosk?

    No. You can use any Extra Offers Kiosk as long as you have an Advantage Card.


    How do I find my nearest Extra Offers Kiosk?

    Simply type in your post code, select the Extra Offers Kiosk option and click on "Find" to see you nearest store with an Advantage Card Extra Offers Kiosk.


    How do I update my personal details using an Extra Offers Kiosk?

    Simply insert your permanent Advantage Card and on the main menu press the 'my details' button, then follow the instructions on the screen.


    How do I collect points when shopping on online?

    Any points collected are now automatically uploaded on to your account. Please visit the specific website where the points were collected to find out when you will receive your points.


    When will the points I collect online be ready for collection?

    Your points will be ready for collection five days* after you make your purchase at Boots.com with the exception of:

    • Other shops ( except those listed below) = 10 days*
    • Travel money = 14 days*
    • Kitchen appliances = 21 days*
    • BUPA health checks = 21 days*
    • Treat Street = points are usually awareded within 25 days although there may be exceptions ? these are explained when you visit the partner website. We will email you to confirm that your points are ready to collect. Please check the Boots Treat Street website for full details.

    Why doesn't my local store have an Extra Offers Kiosk?

    We've selected our larger Boots stores to house our Extra Offers Kiosks because they have a wider range of products than our smaller stores and therefore we can increase the number of offers available to you. Coupons can be used in any Boots stores as long as the coupon has not expired and the product is stocked. There are some Extra Offers Kiosks in smaller stores to ensure you don't have to travel too far to your nearest Extra Offers Kiosk.


    My friend used the Extra Offers Kiosk and received different offers to me. Why is that?

    The offers made available to you are based on your Advantage Card purchasing history at Boots. We try our best to tailor our offers to what you've bought in the past and what we think may be of interest to you.


    Can I use more than one coupon at a time?

    You can use one coupon for each product in a single transaction unless otherwise stated.


    Can I use more than one Total Spend Voucher in a single transaction?

    Only one Total Spend Voucher or Double Points Voucher can be used in a single transaction and only providing the total spend stated has been reached.

    Where can I pick up a Health & Beauty Magazine?

    As an Advantage Card holder you can pick up a free copy of our Health & Beauty magazine in most Boots stores, six times a year. For non Advantage Card holders the magazine costs just one pound.

    What do you do with my data?

    We only share your details with companies in the Alliance Boots group and businesses that process Advantage Card information on our behalf (in the UK and abroad), for example to produce your Advantage Card and print our mailings. We will analyse your purchase history to provide you with relevant and personalised offers, information and advice, in helping you to choose products that are right for you.     I would like to be contacted more often by Boots, the Advantage Card and my Club.

    If you register your email address we may contact you by email, you can do this by registering online, updating your details on the Extra Offers Kiosk in store, or by calling customer care on 0845 124 45 45.
